An image-recording method includes a liquid composition applying process for applying a liquid composition to an intermediate transfer member, an intermediate image forming process for forming an intermediate image by applying an ink to the intermediate transfer member to which the liquid composition has been applied, and a transferring process for transferring the intermediate image to a recording medium. The ink contains a coloring material and first polymer particles, the liquid composition contains a reaction agent and second polymer particles that satisfy storage elastic modulus relationships represented by the formula (1), and the amount of the second polymer particles applied to the intermediate transfer member in the intermediate image forming process is 0.5 g/m 2 or more and 5.0 g/m 2 or less.
