A triarylamine derivative is represented by general formula (1) shown below. In general formula (1), each R 1 independently represents a halogen atom, an optionally substituted alkyl group having a carbon number of 1-6, an optionally substituted alkoxy group having a carbon number of 1-6, or an optionally substituted aryl group having a carbon number of 6-12. Each k independently represents an integer of 0-4, and each m independently represents an integer of 1-3. Each R 2 independently represents a halogen atom, an optionally substituted alkyl group having a carbon number of 1-6, an optionally substituted alkoxy group having a carbon number of 1-6, or an optionally substituted aryl group having a carbon number of 6-12. Each p independently represents an integer of 0-4.

The triarylamine derivative according to claim 1 , wherein the triarylamine derivative is any one of triarylamine derivatives HT-1 to HT-6 shown below. 3. The triarylamine derivative according to claim 1 , wherein in the general formula (1), at least one R 1 or R 2 represents a methyl group. 4. An electrophotographic photosensitive member comprising a conductive substrate and a photosensitive layer, wherein the photosensitive layer contains the triarylamine derivative according to claim 1 . 5. The electrophotographic photosensitive member according to claim 4 wherein the photosensitive layer is a single-layer type photosensitive layer in which a charge generating material, a hole transport material, an electron transport material, and a binder resin are contained in the same layer as one another, and the hole transport material includes the triarylamine derivative. 6. The electrophotographic photosensitive member according to claim 5 , wherein the charge generating material includes Y-form titanyl phthalocyanine. 7. An electrophotographic photosensitive member comprising a conductive substrate and a photosensitive layer, wherein the photosensitive layer contains the triarylamine derivative according to claim 2 . 8. The electrophotographic photosensitive member according to claim 7 wherein the photosensitive layer is a single-layer type photosensitive layer in which a charge generating material, a hole transport material, an electron transport material, and a binder resin are contained in the same layer as one another, and the hole transport material includes the triarylamine derivative. 9. The electrophotographic photosensitive member according to claim 8 , wherein the charge generating material includes Y-form titanyl phthalocyanine. 10. An electrophotographic photosensitive member comprising a conductive substrate and a photosensitive layer, wherein the photosensitive layer contains the triarylamine derivative according to claim 3 . 11.
