A compressor including: a substantially tubular casing; a substantially cylindrical lid that is provided inside an inner periphery of the casing so as to close off both ends of the casing; a space that is enclosed by the lid and an inner circumferential surface of the casing so as to accommodate a blade; and a seal member that is provided so as to extend in a circumferential direction on the space side of an outer circumferential surface of the lid. A recessed portion, extending inward in the radial direction from the outer circumferential surface of the lid, is provided on the lid at a position between the seal member and the end surface at the space side of the lid.

The invention claimed is: 1. A compressor comprising: a substantially tubular casing; a substantially cylindrical lid that is provided inside an inner circumferential surface of the compressor casing so as to close off an end of the casing; a space that is enclosed by the lid and the inner circumferential surface of the casing and that accommodates a blade; and a seal member that is provided to extend in a circumferential direction on an outer circumferential surface of the lid which is adjacent to the space, wherein the lid is provided with a flow path that extends towards an axial center of the lid from the outer circumferential surface thereof and a cavity that is provided at the axial center of the lid and communicates with the flow path, and wherein compressed fluid that is compressed by the blade is guided to the cavity. 2.
