The invention claimed is: 1. An agricultural baler, comprising: a base unit; a plurality of ground engaging devices supporting said base unit; and at least one tie system mounted to said base unit, said at least one tie system including: a needle moveable relative to said base unit; and a needle stabilizer adjustably attached to said base unit, said needle stabilizer controlling a position of said needle over a portion of the movement of said needle, the needle stabilizer having two opposing faces positioned along a pathway of the needle such that the needle travels between the two opposing faces over a portion of the movement of the needle, adjustment of the needle stabilizer causing the two opposing faces to adjust together, wherein said needle stabilizer includes at least one elongated slot generally arranged for lateral adjustment of said needle stabilizer relative to said pathway so that one of the opposing faces moves laterally toward a side of the needle. 2. The agricultural baler of claim 1 , wherein the two opposing faces of the needle stabilizer are oriented in a general direction of the movement of said needle. 3. The agricultural baler of claim 1 , wherein said tie system includes a knotter, said pathway of said needle being adjustable relative to said knotter to a first degree. 4. The agricultural baler of claim 3 , wherein said needle stabilizer adjusts said pathway of said needle to a second degree, said first degree being a coarse adjustment and said second degree being a fine adjustment. 5. The agricultural baler of claim 4 , wherein said knotter lacks an adjustment to adjust said knotter to said needle. 6. The agricultural baler of claim 3 , wherein said needle stabilizer is positioned to reduce a variability in the movement of said needle along the pathway.
