A hydrazone derivative of triphenylamine is represented by general formula (1). In general formula (1), R 1 and R 2 each represent, independently of one another, at least one chemical group selected from the group consisting of a halogen atom, an optionally substituted alkyl group having a carbon number of at least 1 and no greater than 6, an optionally substituted alkoxy group having a carbon number of at least 1 and no greater than 6, and an optionally substituted aryl group having a carbon number of at least 6 and no greater than 12. In general formula (1), m and n each represent, independently of one another, an integer of at least 0 and no greater than 4. In general formula (1), 1 represents 0 or 1.

What is claimed is: 1. A hydrazone derivative of triphenylamine represented by general formula (1) where, in the general formula (1), R 1 represents at least one chemical group selected from the group consisting of an ethoxy group, a phenoxy group, and a phenyl group, m represents 1, and l represents 1. 2. The hydrazone derivative of triphenylamine according to claim 1 , wherein in the general formula (1), R 1 represents an ethoxy group. 3. The hydrazone derivative of triphenylamine according to claim 2 , wherein the chemical group represented by R 1 in the general formula (1) is at an ortho or para substitution position. 4. The hydrazone derivative of triphenylamine according to claim 1 , wherein in the general formula (1), R 1 represents a phenoxy group. 5. The hydrazone derivative of triphenylamine according to claim 1 , wherein in the general formula (1), R 1 represents a phenyl group. 6. An electrophotographic photosensitive member comprising a photosensitive layer containing a charge generating material, a charge transport material, and a binder resin, wherein the photosensitive layer is either one of: a multi-layer photosensitive layer including a charge generating layer that contains the charge generating material and a charge transport layer that contains the charge transport material and the binder resin, and in which the charge generating layer and the charge transport layer are stacked with the charge transport layer as an uppermost layer; and a single-layer photosensitive layer containing the charge generating material, the charge transport material, and the binder resin, and the charge transport material contained in the photosensitive layer is the hydrazone derivative of triphenylamine according to claim 1 . 7. The electophotographic photosensitive member according to claim 6 , wherein the photosensitive layer contains the hydrazone derivative of triphenylamine according to claim 1 as a hole transport material, and the photosensitive layer further contains a charge transport material that is an electron transport material.
