The invention relates to the use of a compound of Formula I for the treatment of protease-activated receptor mediated diseases by the administration of a compound of Formula I or a prodrug or metabolite thereof.

What is claimed: 1. A method of treating a protease-activated receptor (PAR) mediated disease in a patient by administrating a therapeutically effective dose of compound selected from: TABLE A 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 23 24 25 26 wherein the PAR mediated disease is selected from acute Myocardial Infarction, acute occlusion following coronary angioplasty or stent placement thrombosis subsequent to or associated with a surgical procedure, and thrombosis associated with atrial fibrillation. 2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the patient is in need of inhibition of platelet activation. 3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the patient is in need of inhibition of thrombus formation. 4. The method of claim 1 , wherein said PAR mediated disease is acute Myocardial Infarction. 5. The method of claim 1 , wherein said PAR mediated disease is acute occlusion following coronary angioplasty or stent placement. 6. The method of claim 1 , wherein said PAR mediated disease is thrombosis subsequent to or associated with a surgical procedure. 7. The method of claim 1 , wherein said PAR mediated disease is thrombosis associated with atrial fibrillation.
