A plug for hot tube-making includes: a plug main body; a build-up layer formed around an axis of the plug main body on a surface of the plug main body; and a sprayed coating formed on a surface of the build-up layer.

The invention claimed is: 1. A plug for hot tube-making, comprising: a plug main body; a build-up layer formed on a surface of the plug main body around an axis of the plug main body; and a sprayed coating formed on a surface of the build-up layer; wherein the surface of the plug main body includes: a first surface region in which the build-up layer is to be formed; and a second surface region provided behind the first surface region in the plug main body, and wherein the sprayed coating includes: a first sprayed region formed on the surface of the build-up layer; and a second sprayed region formed on the second surface region. 2. The plug for hot tube-making according to claim 1 , wherein the second sprayed region is adjacent to the first sprayed region. 3. The plug for hot tube-making according to claim 1 , wherein the build-up layer coats a front end of the plug main body. 4. The plug for hot tube-making according to claim 1 , wherein the sprayed coating is formed by arc-spraying a steel wire rod. 5. The plug for hot tube-making according to claim 1 , wherein a thickness of the sprayed coating at a front end location of the plug main body is thicker than a thickness of the sprayed coating at a tapered surface location of the plug main body.
