The invention claimed is: 1. A sharpener for an ice screw with a tubular shank and a bit that includes a plurality of teeth, said sharpener comprising: a fixed sharpening support equipped with a sharpening element in the form of an elongate blade with two opposing substantially planar surfaces; and a positioning slide comprising two openings for inserting the tubular shank, each opening having centerline axes that enter the positioning slide on different sides of the substantially planar surfaces, one opening angularly oriented for sharpening a leading cutting face of a tooth of the bit, and the other opening angularly oriented for sharpening an angled flank face of the tooth of the bite at predefined angles with respect to the sharpening element, the slide being able to move in translation while aligned and guided by the fixed sharpening support astride the two opposite substantially planar surfaces of the sharpening element. 2. The sharpener according to claim 1 , further comprising a securing stud salient from the two openings and oriented at a predefined angle. 3. The sharpener according to claim 2 , wherein the securing stud is adjusted to an internal diameter of the tubular shank in order to internally guide and position the ice screw. 4. The sharpener according to claim 1 , wherein the blade extends in a vertical mid-plane of the fixed sharpening support between two extensions. 5. The sharpener according to claim 4 , wherein the fixed sharpening support includes ribs for guiding the positioning slide when the positioning slide moves in translation.
