A preform 20 for a large container, used for producing a large container which is made of a polyethylene terephthalate resin and which is formed by stretch blow molding, is formed by injecting molding to have a wall thickness of 6 mm to 9 mm and have a longitudinal axis length longer than that of the large container which is a final molded product.

What is claimed is: 1. A large container produced using a preform for the large container, wherein the preform is made of a polyethylene terephthalate resin and which is formed by stretch blow molding, and wherein the preform is formed by injection molding to have a wall thickness of 6 mm to 9 mm and to have a longitudinal axis length longer than that of the large container which is a final molded product, and wherein the large container has an open neck portion, a tubular trunk portion, a bottom portion sealing an end of the trunk portion, and a shoulder portion connecting the neck portion and the trunk portion, and a wall thickness of the shoulder portion is greater than a wall thickness of the trunk portion. 2. The large container according to claim 1 , wherein a weight of the preform is 550 g to 800 g.
