We claim: 1. A skin care composition comprising: a dermatologically acceptable carrier; a plurality of interference pigments, wherein the summation of all the interference pigments in the composition having a particle size between 2 μm and 75 μm is equal to or less than 3% of the composition by weight; wherein the composition has a redness reduction index (RRI) of less than −11.5; wherein the composition has a healthy skin color change value (HSCCV) of less than 3; and wherein the plurality of pigments comprise at least a first and second interference pigment, wherein the first interference pigment has a hue angle (h) between 185°-215° and wherein the second interference pigment has a hue angle (h) between 80°-95°. 2. The skin care composition of claim 1 , wherein the summation of all the interference pigments in the composition having a particle size between 2 μm and 75 μm is between 1% and 3% of the composition by weight. 3. The skin care composition of claim 2 , wherein the composition has a redness reduction index (RRI) between about −12.0 and −16.0. 4. The skin care composition of claim 1 , wherein composition has a HSCCV of between 0.5 and 2.5. 5. The skin care composition of claim 4 , wherein the chroma of the composition is greater than 3.5. 6. The skin care composition of claim 5 , wherein the chroma of the composition is between 4.0 and 15.0. 7. The skin care composition of claim 1 , wherein the ratio of the percentage of the first interference pigment to the second interference pigment is in the range between 20:80 and 80:20. 8. The skin care composition of claim 7 , wherein the chroma of the composition over the entire range is less than 8.5. 9. The skin care composition of claim 1 , wherein the skin care composition additionally comprises at least one skin care active. 10. The skin care composition of claim 9 , wherein the skin care active is selected from the group consisting of depigmentation agents and skin-lightening agents; keratolytic agents; anti-acne agents; anti-aging actives and anti-inflammatories. 11. The skin care composition of claim 6 , wherein the composition has a multi-angle Δa* (MADA) value of greater than −4.0. 12. The skin care composition of claim 11 , wherein the composition has a MADA value of between −3.5 and 0.3.
