A system and method of verifying the identity of a user or registrant. The user or registrant provides identification information and registration information. The identification information may be a visual representation of an identifying item associated with location information. In some embodiments, the identification information may be a visual representation of a government issued identity. An identification module verifies the identification information and compares the verified identification information to the registration information.

What is claimed is: 1. A system for verifying identity comprising: a processor configured to receive registration information and identification information from a registrant, the identification information comprising address information and location information indicative of registrant location at a time of registration; a processor in communication with the server, wherein the processor is configured to receive the registration information and the identification information, and wherein the processor is configured to verify the identification information, and to compare the verified identification information to the registration information; and wherein the server is configured to verify the identity of the registrant based on the comparison of the verified identification information to the registration information. 2. The system of claim 1 , wherein the location information comprises a visual indication of a government issued identification. 3. The system of claim 1 , wherein the location information comprises a visual representation of an identifying item. 4. The system of claim 3 , wherein the visual representation of the identifying item is associated with location of the identifying item. 5. The system of claim 4 , wherein the processor is configured to verify the visual representation of the identifying item by comparing the address information in the identification module with the location associated with the visual representation of the identifying item. 6. The system of claim 1 , wherein the processor comprises more than one identification module. 7. The system of claim 1 , wherein the processor is in communication with a third party verification database or government agency verification database. 8. The system of claim 7 , wherein the processor comprises a plurality of processors, and wherein another of the plurality of processors is in communication with a location verification database. 9. The system of claim 1 , wherein the time of registration comprises a time of transmission of the location information to the server. 10. A system for verifying identity comprising: a server configured to receive identification information from a registrant; an identity proofing system in communication with the server, wherein the identity proofing system is configured to receive a first portion of the identification information from the server and provide a first portion verification of the first portion of the registration information to the server; an identity database in communication with the server, wherein the identity database is configured to receive a second portion of the identification information from the server, the second portion of the identification information comprising address information and location information indicative of registrant location at a time of registration, and to provide a second portion verification of the second portion of the identification information to the server; and wherein the server is further configured to receive the first portion verification of the first portion of the identification information from the identity proofing system, and the second portion verification of the second portion of the identification information from the identity database, and to verify the identity of the registrant based on the first portion and second portion verifications. 11. The system of claim 10 , wherein the registration and identification information is provided for registration of an account. 12. The system of claim 11 , wherein when the server verifies the identity of the registrant the server authorizes the creation of the account. 13. The system of claim 10 , wherein the server is configured to receive registration and identification information from a mobile application. 14. The system of claim 10 , wherein the identity proofing system is in communication with a third party database, wherein the identity proofing system is configured to communicate the first portion of the of the identification information to the third party database. 15. The system of claim 14 , wherein the first portion of the identification information comprises identity information. 16. The system of claim 15 , wherein the identity information comprises identity information available in the third party database. 17. The system of claim 16 , wherein the identity information comprises driver license information. 18. The system of claim 10 , wherein the location information comprises a visual indication. 19. The system of claim 18 , wherein the visual indication further comprises a representation of computer readable code. 20. The system of claim 19 , wherein the visual indication is accompanied by a location identifier. 21. The system of claim 20 , wherein the visual indication is an image of a mail piece having a barcode thereon. 22. The system of claim 10 , further comprising a biometric analysis module in communication with the server, wherein the biometric analysis module is configured to receive a third portion of the identification information from the server, and the server is further configured to receive verification information. 23. The system of claim 22 , wherein the third portion of the identification information comprises a biometric identifier. 24. The system of claim 23 , wherein the biometric identifier is a fingerprint. 25. The system of claim 10 , wherein the time of registration comprises a time of transmission of the location information to the server. 26. A method of verifying an identity comprising: receiving registration information from a registrant; receiving identification information from a registrant, the identification information comprising address information and location information indicative of registrant location at a time of registration; communicating the identification information to an identification verification module; verifying the identification information; comparing the registration information with the verified identification information; and verifying the identity of the registrant based on the comparison of the registration information with the verified identification information. 27. The method of claim 26 , wherein verifying the identification information comprises communicating identification information to an identification verification module. 28. The method of claim 27 , wherein the identification information comprises a visual representation of a government issued identification. 29. The method of claim 28 , wherein the identification verification module communicates with a government agency database. 30. The method of claim 26 , wherein the location information comprises a visual representation of an identifying item. 31. The method of claim 30 , wherein the visual representation of the identifying item is associated with location of the identifying item. 32. The method of claim 31 , wherein the identification module communicates with a database of location identification information. 33. The method of claim 32 , wherein verifying the identity of the registrant comprises comparing the address information with the location associated with the visual representation of the identifying item. 34.
