A curable composition comprising: an amorphous perfluoropolymer; and nanoparticles of zirconium oxide wherein the nanoparticles of zirconium oxide have an average diameter of less than 100 nm and wherein the curable composition is in the shape of a seal, a gasket, or an O-ring. 2. The curable composition of claim 1 , wherein the amorphous perfluoropolymer comprises at least one of an iodine- and a bromine-containing cure site group.…
