The invention claimed is: 1. An apparatus for interacting with an EO device in an environment, the apparatus comprising: at least one optical source emitting optical energy into the environment towards an electro-optic (EO) device; at least one detector detecting the optical energy retro-reflected from the EO device; a vision system which provides an image of the environment; a display section adapted to display the image of the environment on a display; and a controller operatively coupled to the at least one optical source and the at least one detector, the controller analyzing the detected optical energy to determine whether the EO device is an authorized EO device or an unauthorized device; wherein the controller further displays an icon on image shown in the display to indicate a location of EO device. 2. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein if the EO device is an unauthorized EO device the controller causes the at least one optical source to emit optical energy which hampers an operation of the EO device. 3. The apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the optical energy emitted by the at least one optical source is a continuous beam of optical energy. 4. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein if the EO device is an unauthorized EO device the controller causes a high power optical source to emit optical energy which hampers an operation of the EO device. 5. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the optical energy emitted by the high power optical source is a continuous beam of optical energy. 6. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein said controller is further adapted to output data location information concerning the EO device.
