Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

An electrochromic device, which contains: one support; a first electrode layer formed on the support; a second electrode layer provided to face the first electrode layer; an electrochromic layer provided to be in contact with the first electrode layer or the second electrode layer; a solid electrolyte layer containing inorganic particles, which is filled between the first electrode layer and the second electrode layer, and is provided to be in contact with the electrochromic layer; and a protective layer provided on the second electrode layer.

What is claimed is: 1. An electrochromic device, comprising: one support; a first electrode layer formed on the support; a second electrode layer provided to face the first electrode layer; an electrochromic layer provided to be in contact with the first electrode layer or the second electrode layer; a solid electrolyte layer containing inorganic particles, which is filled between the first electrode layer and the second electrode layer, and is provided to be in contact with the electrochromic layer; and a protective layer provided on the second electrode layer. 2. The electrochromic device according to claim 1 , further comprising an antideterioration layer on the electrode layer facing the electrochromic layer. 3. The electrochromic device according to claim 1 , wherein the inorganic particles contain insulating metal oxide particles. 4. The electrochromic device according to claim 1 , wherein the inorganic particles contain white reflection particles. 5. The electrochromic device according to claim 1 , further comprising a release layer on the second electrode layer. 6. The electrochromic device according to claim 5 , wherein the release layer contains a material that is softened or dissolved upon application of heat. 7. The electrochromic device according to claim 1 , wherein the support is an optical element. 8. A method for producing the electrochromic device according to claim 1 , the method comprising: peeling a portion that is present above the second electrode layer from the support, to thereby form a contact area with the second electrode layer.
