The invention claimed is: 1. A composition comprising an ScFv which binds to a SPARC protein, wherein the ScFv consists of the sequence of SEQ ID NO: 113. 2. The composition of claim 1 , wherein the ScFv is coupled to a therapeutic agent or diagnostic agent. 3. The composition of claim 2 wherein the therapeutic agent is an antibody fragment comprising a functional antibody Fc domain. 4. The composition of claim 3 , wherein the functional antibody Fc domain comprises SEQ ID NO: 118. 5. The composition of claim 2 , wherein the therapeutic agent is selected from the group consisting of radionuclides, adriamycin, ansamycin antibiotics, asparaginase, bleomycin, busulphan, cisplatin, carboplatin, cannustine, capecitabine, chlorambucil, cytarabine, cyclophosphamide, camptothecin, dacarbazine, dactinomycin, daunorubicin, dexrazoxane, docetaxel, doxorubicin, etoposide, epothilones, floxuridine, fludarabine, fluorouracil, gemcitabine, hydroxyurea, idarubicin, ifosfamide, irinotecan, lomustine, mechlorethamine, mercaptopurine, meplhalan, methotrexate, rapamycin (sirolimus), mitomycin, mitotane, mitoxantrone, nitrosurea, paclitaxel, pamidronate, pentostatin, plicamycin, procarbazine, rituximab, streptozocin, teniposide, thioguanine, thiotepa, taxanes, vinblastine, vincristine, vinorelbine, TAXOL, combretastatins, discodermolides, transplatinmn, docetaxel, paclitaxel, taxanes, 5-fluorouracil, genistein, tTF, TNF, Smarl derived p44 peptide, interferon, TRAIL, Smac, VHL, procaspase, caspase, and IL-2, a non-Fe domain antibody fragment, and combinations thereof. 6. The composition of claim 2 , wherein the therapeutic or diagnostic agent is a diagnostic agent selected from the group consisting of radioactive agents, MRI contrast agents, X-ray contrast agents, ultrasound contrast agents, and PET contrast agents. 7. The composition of claim 1 , further comprising a pharmaceutical carrier.
