The tampon pledget according to claim 1 , wherein said compressed tampon pledget has a greater expansion potential near a bottom end of said compressed tampon pledget. 7. A compressed tampon pledget comprising: a bottom pad with a bottom area calculated in a single plane and a bottom fiber weight distribution; a top pad with a top area calculated in a single plane and a top fiber weight distribution; a pad lay-up ratio of said bottom area to said top area of 1:2.25; a fiber distribution ratio of said bottom fiber weight distribution to said top fiber weight distribution of 1.5:1; and an absorption potential that is higher at a bottom end of the compressed tampon pledget than at a top end. 8. The compressed tampon pledget accroding to claim 7 , wherein said bottom pad comprises a plurality of pads. 9. The compressed tampon pledget according to claim 7 , wherein said top pad comprises a plurality of pads. 10. The compressed tampon of claim 7 , wherein said compressed tampon has an average positive displacement greater than 0.145. 11. The tampon pledget according to claim 7 , wherein said compressed tampon pledget is generally cylindrical such that a main body region of said compressed tampon pledget has generally straight wall sides that lead into an adjacent insertion end such that said main body region transitions into at least one of a slight teardrop shape and a circular shape. 12. The tampon pledget according to claim 7 , wherein said compressed tampon pledget has a greater expansion potential near a bottom end of said compressed tampon pledget. 13. A compressed tampon pledget, comprising: a bottom pad with a bottom area calculated in a single plane and a bottom fiber weight distribution; a top pad with a top area calculated in a single plane and a top fiber weight distribution; a pad lay-up ratio of said bottom area to said top area of 1:1.6; a fiber distribution ratio of said bottom fiber weight distribution to said top fiber weight distribution of 1:1; and an absorption potential that is higher at a bottom end of the compressed tampon pledget than at a top end. 14. The compressed tampon pledget according to claim 13 , wherein said bottom pad comprises a plurality of pads. 15. The compressed tampon pledget according to claim 13 , wherein said top pad comprises a plurality of pads. 16. The compressed tampon of claim 13 , wherein said compressed tampon has an average positive displacement greater than 0.145. 17. A compressed tampon pledget comprising: a bottom pad having a bottom area calculated in a single plane; a top pad having a top area calculated in a single plane; an average positive displacement rate greater than 0.145; an absorption potential that is higher at a bottom end of the compressed tampon pledget than at a top end; and a pad lay-up ratio of said bottom area to said top area of 1:1.25. 18. The compressed tampon pledget according to claim 17 , wherein said bottom pad comprises a plurality of pads. 19. The compressed tampon pledget according to claim 17 , wherein said bottom pad comprises a plurality of pads. 20.
