In an embodiment, a long reinforcing material-attached profile strip ( 100 ) in which joint portions are formed at both side edge portions and to which a reinforcing material continuously formed in the longitudinal direction is attached is supplied, and mutually adjacent joint portions are joined to each other, thereby producing a spiral pipe (S). A curl-forming apparatus ( 3 ) includes a sending roller for the reinforcing material-attached profile strip ( 100 ) and a curl guide. Using the curl-forming apparatus ( 3 ), adjacent parts of the reinforcing material-attached profile strip ( 100 ) are subjected to plastic deformation to form spirals by being provided with arc-like curls having a radius of curvature substantially similar to or not greater than the radius of curvature of the spiral pipe (S). Accordingly, the spiral pipe (S) can be produced while suppressing the action of a restoring force that restores the reinforcing material-attached profile strip ( 100 ) to its original radius of curvature.

The invention claimed is: 1. A method for producing a spiral pipe, comprising: disposing the pipe-producing machine in a manhole; separately disposing a curl-forming apparatus on an upstream side of the pipe-producing machine, the curl-forming apparatus including: an arc-like plate so as to configure a part of a spiral; and a support base; placing the support base on a ground near the manhole or on a bottom portion inside the manhole; placing a reinforcing material-attached profile strip in which joint portions are formed at both side edge portions and to which a reinforcing material continuously formed in a longitudinal direction is attached, along a concave surface of the arc-like plate; pushing or taking the reinforcing material-attached profile strip, providing arc-like curls having a radius of curvature substantially similar to or not greater than a radius of curvature of a spiral pipe, and subjecting the reinforcing material-attached profile strip to plastic deformation to form a spiral; joining the joint portions of adjacent parts of the reinforcing material-attached profile strip, using the pipe-producing machine having a joining mechanism, thereby producing a spiral pipe; and revolving the pipe-producing machine about an axis of the spiral pipe in the manhole, and drawing or pressing the spiral pipe in a state where the spiral pipe is not removed from the pipe-producing machine, and thereby inserting the spiral pipe into an existing pipe without being wound, wherein the pipe-producing machine never proceeds into the existing pipe. 2. The method for producing a spiral pipe according to claim 1 , wherein a head portion of the spiral pipe is coupled to a cord-like member and drawn into the existing pipe. 3. The method for producing a spiral pipe according to claim 1 , wherein the reinforcing material-attached profile strip is supplied to the manhole while being provided with arc-like curls by subjecting a metal reinforcing material attached thereto to plastic deformation. 4. The method for producing a spiral pipe according to claim 1 , wherein the reinforcing material-attached profile strip is supplied to the manhole while being provided with arc-like curls by thermal deformation. 5. The method for producing a spiral pipe according to claim 1 , wherein the curl-forming apparatus is disposed on a ground near a departure side manhole. 6. The method for producing a spiral pipe according to claim 1 , wherein the arc-like plate has a radius of curvature substantially similar to or not greater than a radius of curvature of the spiral pipe, the curl-forming apparatus comprising: a curl guide including the arc-like plate; and at least either one sending roller of a sending roller that is disposed on an upstream side of the curl guide and that pushes the reinforcing material-attached profile strip into the curl guide, and a sending roller that is disposed on a downstream side of the curl guide and that takes the reinforcing material-attached profile strip from the curl guide. 7. The method for producing a spiral pipe according to claim 1 , wherein the arc-like plate has a radius of curvature substantially similar to or not greater than a radius of curvature of the spiral pipe, the curl-forming apparatus comprising: a curl guide including the arc-like plate; a first pinch roller that is disposed on an upstream side of the curl guide; a second pinch roller that is disposed on a downstream side of the curl guide; and a motor that rotationally drives at least one of the first pinch roller and the second pinch roller.
