An amino-acid containing composition for inhibiting accumulation of fat, containing leucine in an amount of 33 to 67% by weight and threonine in an amount of 33 to 67% by weight, in terms of free amino acids thereof, based on whole amino acids.

A method for inhibiting accumulation of fat in fat tissue of a subject in need thereof, comprising administering to said subject an effective amount of the amino-acid containing composition comprising leucine in an amount of 33 to 67% by weight and threonine in an amount of 33 to 67% by weight, in terms of free amino acids thereof, based on whole amino acids, wherein said subject is a mammal or a bird. 2.
