A nonaqueous electrolytic solution of an electrolyte salt dissolved in a nonaqueous solvent, which contains a carboxylate represented by the following general formula (8) in an amount of from 0.01 to 5% by mass of the nonaqueous electrolytic solution: wherein X 31 represents -A 2 -C≡Y 2 , -A 2 -C(═O)O-A 3 -C≡Y 2 or -A 2 -C(═O)O-A 4 ; A 1 , A 2 and A 3 each independently represent an alkylene group having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms; A 4 represents an alkyl group having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms; Y 1 and Y 2 each independently represent CH or N.
