Price searching and intelligent shopping lists on a mobile device is provided. A system for providing a shopping list comprises at least one subsystem that receives input data containing product identification information, at least one subsystem that determines location information of a product identified by the product identification information, and at least one subsystem that determines a proposed route from a particular location to a location of the product identified by the location information.

The invention claimed is: 1. A system for providing a shopping list, the system comprising: one or more processors configured to: receive input data containing product identification information; determine location information of a product identified by the product identification information; obtain, from a location system associated with a mobile device, a current location of the mobile device; and determine a proposed route from the current location to a location of the product identified by the location information based at least in part on a number of user selected locations to include in the proposed route and a prioritized list of factors provided by the user, wherein the prioritized list of factors is arranged in an order priority by the user, wherein the order of priority is a ranking by the user of each factor in a list of factors presented to the user; the prioritized list of factors includes lowest overall cost of the product, whether the user needs the product as soon as possible, whether the product is available at a physical store or website, whether the lowest cost is within a predetermined percentage difference from a cost within the received input data, and whether the product is available at a location within a certain distance of the current location; and the location of the product is selected based at least in part on a received request from the user to determine the proposed route. 2. The system of claim 1 wherein the input data is provided by one or more of the following: a user selecting an item from a web site having product identification information, a user electronically reading an items tag with a mobile device, or a user manually inputting information. 3. The system of claim 1 further comprising at least one subsystem that searches price information for the product before determining a proposed route. 4. The system of claim 3 wherein the at least one subsystem that searches comprises: at least one subsystem that uses the product identification information to automatically search for other similar products whose prices are available electronically; and at least one subsystem that compares prices of the similar products to a price of the product identified by the product identification information. 5. The system of claim 4 , wherein the proposed route is determined based at least in part upon one or more of the following: the comparison of prices of the similar products, locations of the similar products, whether the similar products are available in a stores stock of products. 6. The system of claim 4 , wherein the proposed route is determined based at least in part upon the distance of a location having a product from a current location of a user. 7. The system of claim 1 further comprising at least one subsystem that displays the proposed route on a user's mobile device. 8. A method for providing a shopping list, the method comprising: receiving, by a computing device having a computer processor and computer-readable code stored on a computer-readable medium and executable by the computer processor, input data containing product identification information; determining, by the computing device, location information of a product identified by the product identification information; obtain, from a location system associated with a mobile device, a current location of the mobile device; and determining, by the computing device, a proposed route from the current location to a location of the product identified by the location information based at least in part on a number of user selected locations to include in the proposed route and a prioritized list of factors provided by the user, wherein the prioritized list of factors is arranged in an order priority by the user, wherein the order of priority is a ranking by the user of each factor in a list of factors presented to the user; the prioritized list of factors includes lowest overall cost of the product, whether the user needs the product as soon as possible, whether the product is available at a physical store or website, whether the lowest cost is within a predetermined percentage difference from a cost within the received input data, and whether the product is available at a location within a certain distance of the current location; and the location of the product is selected based at least in part on a received request from the user to determine the proposed route. 9. The method of claim 8 wherein the input data is provided by one or more of the following: a user selecting an item from a web site having product identification information, a user electronically reading an items tag with a mobile device, or a user manually inputting information. 10. The method of claim 8 further comprising searching, by the computing device, price information for the product before determining a proposed route. 11. The method of claim 10 wherein the searching comprises: using the product identification information to automatically search for other similar products whose prices are available electronically; and comparing prices of the similar products to a price of the product identified by the product identification information. 12. The method of claim 11 wherein the determining a proposed route comprises determining a proposed route based at least in part based upon one or more of the following: the comparison of prices of the similar products, locations of the similar products, whether the similar products are available in a stores stock of products. 13. The method of claim 11 wherein the determining a proposed route comprises determining a proposed route based at least in part upon the distance of a location having a product from a current location of a user. 14. The method of claim 8 further comprising displaying, by the computing device, the proposed route on a user's mobile device. 15. A computer readable code for providing a shopping list stored on a non-transitory computer-readable medium, which when executed causes a processor to: receive input data containing product identification information; determine location information of a product identified by the product identification information; obtain, from a location system associated with a mobile device, a current location of the mobile device; and determine a proposed route from the current location to a location of the product identified by the location information based at least in part on a number of user selected locations to include in the proposed route and a prioritized list of factors provided by the user, wherein the prioritized list of factors is arranged in an order priority by the user, wherein the order of priority is a ranking by the user of each factor in a list of factors presented to the user; the prioritized list of factors includes lowest overall cost of the product, whether the user needs the product as soon as possible, whether the product is available at a physical store or website, whether the lowest cost is within a predetermined percentage difference from a cost within the received input data, and whether the product is available at a location within a certain distance of the current location; and the location of the product is selected based at least in part on a received request from the user to determine the proposed route. 16. The computer-readable code of claim 15 wherein the input data is provided by one or more of the following: a user selecting an item from a web site having product identification information, a user electronically reading an items tag with a mobile device, or a user manually inputtin
