Chemical compositions, lubricant compositions, and methods of using the same are provided. The lubricant composition may comprise at least on carrier. In certain methods, the lubricant composition may be provided to at least one surface, wherein the lubricant composition reduces a coefficient of friction of the at least one surface. In certain methods, the lubricant composition may be provided to at least one surface, wherein the lubricant composition reduces wear of the at least one surface.

What is claimed is: 1. A compound comprising a formula: wherein: X n represents CH 3 or heteroatom, and n is 3; Y represents (C 1 -C 30 )alkyl, or heteroaryl, wherein (C 1 -C 30 ) alkyl and heteroaryl are substituted with 0-3 occurrences of R 4 ; and R 4 represents (C 1 -C 6 )alkyl, (C 1 -C 6 )alkoxy, aryl, or heteroaryl. 2. The compound of claim 1 , wherein Y represents (C 1 -C 30 )alkyl, wherein (C 1 -C 30 )alkyl is substituted with 0-1 occurrences of R 4 ; and R 4 represents (C 1 -C 6 )alkyl, or (C 1 -C 6 )alkoxy. 3. The compound of claim 2 , wherein Y represents (C 1 -C 30 )alkyl substituted with 0-1 occurrences of (C 1 -C 6 )alkyl. 4. The compound of claim 3 , wherein (C 1 -C 30 )alkyl is substituted with zero occurrences of R 4 . 5. The compound of claim 4 , wherein Y represents —CH 2 (CH 2 ) 11 CH 3 and n is substituted in the 2,4,6-positions. 6. The compound of claim 4 , wherein Y represents —CH 2 C(CH 3 ) 3 and n is substituted in the 2,4,6-positions.
