The present specification relates to the use of a quinazolinone compound of the formula (I) wherein R 1 , R 2 , R 3 , R 4 , R 5 and m are as defined in the specification and in the claims, in free form or in salt form, and, where possible, in acid addition salt form.

The invention claimed is: 1. A method for treating eye pain in a mammal, comprising: administering to a mammal in need thereof a therapeutically effective amount of a quinazolinone compound of the formula: in free base form or in pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salt form.
