Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

A radiation image capturing system including a CR cassette and a FPD cassette, and when the radiation image capturing is started without either of the cassettes being loaded, the radiation generating apparatus is set for the CR cassette and when the icon of the FPD cassette is selected, the radiation generating apparatus is set for the FPD cassette.

First claim

The invention claimed is: 1. A radiation image capturing system comprising: a radiation generating apparatus to emit radiation; a FPD cassette which can capture a plurality of radiation images of an object successively; a CR cassette which can store a radiation image of an object; a bucky device associated with the radiation generating apparatus; and a console including a display section to display an icon corresponding to the FPD cassette and an icon corresponding to the bucky device, the console being structured to communicate with the FPD cassette, the radiation generating apparatus, and the bucky device, wherein the radiation generating apparatus is structured so that a capturing condition for radiation image capturing using the CR cassette is set when the icon of the bucky device without the FPD cassette is selected, and the capturing condition for radiation image capturing using the CR cassette is changed to the capturing condition for radiation image capturing using the FPD cassette when the icon of the FPD cassette is selected or the icon corresponding to the bucky device with the FPD cassette is selected. 2. The radiation image capturing system of claim 1 , wherein the FPD cassette is compatible with the CR cassette in size.
