Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

An information processing apparatus includes a user evaluation value table and a display controller portion. In the user evaluation value table, user evaluation values each corresponding to the number of processes of the respective content are stored on a basis of the respective content. When performing display changing of a respective content intended for display on a display portion, the controller portion detects from the user evaluation value table a user evaluation value of a content intended to be graphically displayed on the display portion. Then, the controller portion performs change control to change a display time period for the content intended to be graphically displayed on the display portion in accordance with the detected user evaluation value.

What is claimed is: 1. An information processing apparatus, comprising: circuitry configured to create and store a user evaluation value table that includes user evaluation values, each user evaluation value corresponding to a number of executed processes invoked for a respective content and a user-selection probability of the executed processes; detect from the user evaluation value table a user evaluation value that corresponds to a content to be graphically displayed on a display; control a display to display a calendar; and control the display to display a simplified form of the content within the calendar for a duration of a continuous display time period based on the corresponding detected user evaluation value. 2. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the circuitry is further configured to control the display to display the simplified form of the content for the duration of the continuous display time period based on the corresponding detected user evaluation value and a plurality of content displayed within the calendar; calculate a total of user evaluation values corresponding to each of the of the respective content of the plurality of content displayed within the calendar; and change the duration of the continuous display time period for the display in accordance with the calculation. 3. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the circuitry is further configured to control the display to display the simplified form of the content for the duration of the continuous display time period based on the corresponding detected user evaluation value and a plurality of content displayed within the calendar; calculate a total of user evaluation values corresponding to each of a predetermined number of content selected from the plurality of content displayed within the calendar; and change the duration of the continuous display time period for the display in accordance with the calculation. 4. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the circuitry is further configured to control the display to display the simplified form of the content for the duration of the continuous display time period based on the corresponding detected user evaluation value and a plurality of content displayed within the calendar; determine a content that corresponds to a largest user evaluation value from among the respective content of the plurality of content displayed within the calendar; and change the duration of the continuous display time period for the display in accordance with the user evaluation value of the detected content. 5. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the circuitry is further configured to control the display to display the simplified form of the content for the duration of the continuous display time period based on the corresponding detected user evaluation value and a plurality of content displayed within the calendar; calculate a total of user evaluation values corresponding to each of the of the respective content of the plurality of content displayed within the calendar; and change the duration of the continuous display time period for the display so that the display is not displayed when the calculated total of the user evaluation values corresponding to each of the respective content of the plurality of content displayed within the calendar on the display is less than a predetermined value, and the display is displayed for either a predetermined duration of a continuous time period or a duration of a continuous time period corresponding to the calculated user evaluation value when the calculated total of the user evaluation values corresponding to the display is larger than or equal to the predetermined value. 6. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the circuitry is further configured to store a specified user evaluation value; control the display to display the simplified form of the content for the duration of the continuous display time period based on the corresponding detected user evaluation value and a plurality of content displayed within the calendar; calculate a total of user evaluation values corresponding to each of the of the respective content of the plurality of content displayed within the calendar; and change the duration of the continuous display time period for the display so that the display is not displayed when the calculated total of the user evaluation values corresponding to each of the respective content of the plurality of content displayed within the calendar on the display is less than the specified user evaluation, and the display is displayed for either a predetermined duration of a continuous time period or a duration of a continuous time period corresponding to the calculated user evaluation value when the calculated total of the user evaluation values corresponding to the display is larger than or equal to the predetermined value. 7. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the circuitry is further configured to display a plurality of content at one time on the display; perform sequential scrolling of the respective displayed content; detect the user evaluation value of the respective content from the user evaluation value table during the sequential scrolling of the respective displayed content; stop the sequential scrolling for a time period when a content having a user evaluation value larger than or equal to a predetermined user evaluation value is scroll-displayed; and reduce a scroll speed of the sequential scrolling when the content having the user evaluation value larger than or equal to the predetermined user evaluation value is not scroll-displayed. 8. An information processing method performed by an information processing apparatus, the method comprising: creating and storing, by circuitry of the information processing apparatus, a user evaluation value table that includes user evaluation values, each user evaluation value corresponding to a number of executed processes invoked for a respective content and a user-selection probability of the executed processes; detecting from the user evaluation value table a user evaluation value that corresponds to a content to be graphically displayed on a display; controlling a display to display a calendar; and controlling the display to display a simplified form of the content within the calendar for a duration of a continuous display time period based on the corresponding detected user evaluation value. 9. A non-transitory computer program storage device having an information processing program stored thereon that when executed by a computer performs steps comprising: creating and storing a user evaluation value table that includes user evaluation values, each user evaluation value corresponding to a number of executed processes invoked for a respective content and a user-selection probability of the executed processes; detecting from the user evaluation value table a user evaluation value that corresponds to a content to be graphically displayed on a display; controlling a display to display a calendar; and controlling the display to display a simplified form of the content within the calendar for a duration of a continuous display time period based on the corresponding detected user evaluation value.
