A communication terminal ( 100 c ) is provided with: an obtaining device ( 101 ) for presenting the host name of the another end terminal ( 100 d ) to an address resolution server ( 200 ), thereby obtaining a second address bundle ( 221 ) indicating a network route from a global network ( 401 ), to which the address resolution server belongs, to the another end terminal; a recognizing device ( 102 ) for recognizing a positional relation on the network between the communication terminal and the another end terminal, on the basis of the second address bundle and a first address bundle ( 221 ) indicating a network route from the global network, to which the address resolution server belongs, to the communication terminal; and a determining device ( 103 ) for determining a host address which is used for the communication with the another end terminal from among the second address bundle, on the basis of the recognized positional relation.
