The present invention provides a method for transmitting system information, wherein the SIs are transmitted in their respective windows, and the windows do not overlap with each other, when the windows is equal to 1 millisecond, system information blocks are mapped into SIs and the number of the SIs is smaller than or equal to 5. Through this method, the initial wireless sub-frame of the transmitting window of the system information is configured to have offsets, so that the transmitting conflict between SI and SIB 1 can be avoided.
