A method for transmitting and receiving, by a station, channel information in a wireless LAN system, the method comprising: receiving a beacon frame including the channel information, wherein the channel information includes information for a channel change, the information for the channel change includes a field for a operating class of a new channel, a field for a channel number of the new channel and a field for a maximum transmit power of the new channel; parsing the beacon frame; and changing to a new channel with the maximum transmit power.

What is claimed is: 1. A method for transmitting and receiving, by a dependent station, channel information in a wireless LAN system, the method comprising: transmitting, by the dependent station to an enabling station, a request frame; and receiving, by the dependent station from the enabling station, in response to the request frame, a response frame including at least one triplet, wherein the triplet includes an operating class field, a channel number field, and a maximum transmit power field, wherein the operating class field and the channel number field together specify at least one channel on which the dependent station is allowed to operate based on a maximum allowable transmission power indicated by the maximum transmit power field, and wherein the operating class field represents an index for a set of values of information including channel starting frequency, channel spacing, channel set, and behavior limits set. 2. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the dependent station and the enabling station are operated in a TV white space band. 3. A dependent station for transmitting and receiving channel information in a wireless LAN system, the station comprising: an RF transmitting/receiving unit; and a control unit, wherein the control unit is configured to: control the RF transmitting/receiving unit to transmit, to an enabling station, a request frame; and control the RF transmitting/receiving unit to receive, from the enabling station, in response to the request frame, a response frame including at least one triplet, wherein the triplet includes an operating class field, a channel number field, and a maximum transmit power field, wherein the operating class field and the channel number field together specify at least one channel on which the dependent station is allowed to operate based on a maximum allowable transmission power indicated by the maximum transmit power field, and wherein the operating class field represents an index for a set of values of information including channel starting frequency, channel spacing, channel set, and behavior limits set. 4. The device according to claim 3 , wherein the dependent station and the enabling station are operated in a TV white space band. 5. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the response frame is received by the dependent station in response to the request frame when available channel list is updated. 6. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the enabling station contacts a geo-location database to obtain available channel list information. 7. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the triplet is a set of three fields, each of three fields has one octet length.
