Provided is a non-crosslinked polyethylene composition for a power cable in which crosslinked polyethylene widely used in the world as an existing insulator for a power cable is replaced with a non-crosslinked polyethylene resin, and more particularly, a non-crosslinked polyethylene composition for a power cable having excellent processability, AC dielectric breakdown strength, space charge distribution, and water tree resistance.

A non-crosslinked polyethylene composition for a power cable comprising: (a) a binder including 70 to 95 weight % of a linear polyethylene resin including α-olefin having at least four carbon atoms as a comonomer and having a melt index of 0.5 to 2.2 g/10 min (at 190° C. under a load of 2.16 kg), a molecular weight distribution of 2 to 5, and a density of 0.920 to 0.945 g/cm 3 , and 5 to 30 weight % of a low-density polyethylene resin having a melt ind…
