An electrical male terminal formed from a metal plate comprising a mating portion having contact surfaces adapted to electrically contact a female terminal. The mating portion comprises a first and second seamless strip electrically contacting the first and second female contact surfaces. The male terminal has a seam comprising a mating portion seam, within the mating portion, which is parallel to the longitudinal axis, and located on one of the side portions which are perpendicular to the contact surfaces of the mating portion.
