An information processing device includes: a local memory unit storing data including encrypted content; a memory storing data including key information to be used in a process of reproducing the encrypted content; and a data processing unit selectively reproducing encrypted content stored in a disk or the local memory unit, wherein the data processing unit reads a medium ID from the disk when the content to be reproduced is stored in the disk and reads a medium ID from the memory when the content to be reproduced is stored in the local memory unit.

What is claimed is: 1. An information processing device comprising: a local memory unit programmed to store data including first encrypted content; a memory programmed to store data including key information to be used in a process of reproducing the first encrypted content; and a data processing unit programmed to selectively reproduce second encrypted content stored in a disk or the first encrypted content stored on the local memory unit and select one of a first medium ID and a second medium ID to be read based on which one of the first encrypted content or the second encrypted is to be reproduced, wherein, in reproducing the second encrypted content, the data processing unit is programmed to read the second medium ID from the disk and, in reproducing the first encrypted content, the data processing unit reads the first medium ID from the memory, wherein the data processing unit is programmed to read the first and second medium ID by executing a single application programming interface (API), which defines a first medium ID acquiring process sequence for reading the first medium ID and a second medium ID acquiring process for reading the second medium ID, and wherein the data processing unit is programmed to selectively reproduce the first or second encrypted content by transmitting to a management server the read first or second medium ID and a content ID of one of the first and second encrypted content and receive, from the management server, one or more permitted processes corresponding to the transmitted first or second medium ID and the one of the first and second encrypted content. 2. The information processing device according to claim 1 , wherein a process sequence is selected and performed depending on whether the first encrypted content or the second encrypted content is to be reproduced. 3. The information processing device according to claim 1 , wherein the data processing unit performs content reproducing process accompanied with a process of decoding the first encrypted content stored in the local memory unit by selectively using key information, which is stored in the memory, corresponding to the first encrypted content stored in the local memory unit when the first encrypted content is to be reproduced. 4. The information processing device according to claim 1 , wherein the data processing unit acquires a unit key by decoding a unit key file storing the unit key, which is used to decode the encrypted content stored in the local memory unit, using key data stored in the memory and decodes the encrypted content using the acquired unit key. 5. The information processing device according to claim 1 , wherein the data processing unit acquires a first key by processing a key block stored in the local memory unit using device-specific key data stored in the memory, acquires a second key by decoding a key file storing a key, which is used to decode the encrypted content, using the acquired first key, and decodes the encrypted content using the acquired second key. 6. The information processing device according to claim 1 , wherein the data processing unit selectively reproduces the first or second encrypted content onto a recording medium. 7. The information processing device according to claim 1 , wherein the content ID is part of a managed-copy management file (MCMF), as defined by an Advanced Access Content System (AACS) standard, revision 0.951. 8. The information processing device according to claim 1 , wherein, in reading the first medium ID from the memory, the data processing unit is programmed to read a Pre-recorded Media Serial Number (PMSN) from a secure area of the memory in which reading and changing stored data is permitted in only a predetermined sequence and, in reading the second medium ID from the disk, the data processing unit is programmed to read the second medium ID from a Burst Cutting Area (BCA) of the disk. 9. A data processing method carried out in an information processing device having a processor and a data processing unit, the data processing method comprising: selectively reproducing first encrypted content stored in a disk or second encrypted content stored on a local memory unit and selecting one of a first medium ID and a second medium ID to be read based on which one of the first encrypted content or the second encrypted is to be reproduced, using the data processing unit, by reading the first medium ID from the disk when reproducing the first encrypted content and reading the second medium ID from a memory when reproducing the second encrypted content, wherein both reading the first medium ID and reading the second medium ID are performed by the data processing unit executing a single application programming interface (API), which defines a first medium ID acquiring process sequence for reading the first medium ID and a second medium ID acquiring process for reading the second medium ID, and transmitting to a management server the first or second medium ID and a content ID of one of the first and second encrypted content and receiving, from the management server, one or more permitted processes corresponding to the transmitted first or second medium ID and the one of the first and second encrypted content. 10. A non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing computer readable instructions thereon that, when executed by a data processing unit, cause the data processing unit to carry out a data processing method, the data processing method comprising: selectively reproducing first encrypted content stored in a disk or second encrypted content stored on a local memory unit and selecting one of a first medium ID and a second medium ID to be read based on which one of the first encrypted content or the second encrypted is to be reproduced by: reading the first medium ID from the disk when reproducing the first encrypted content and reading the second medium ID from a memory when reproducing the second encrypted content, wherein both reading the first medium ID and reading the second medium ID are performed by the data processing unit executing a single application programming interface (API), which defines a first medium ID acquiring process sequence for reading the first medium ID and a second medium ID acquiring process for reading the second medium ID, and transmitting to a management server the first or second medium ID and a content ID of one of the first and second encrypted content and receiving, from the management server, one or more permitted processes corresponding to the transmitted first or second medium ID and the one of the first and second encrypted content.
