The invention claimed is: 1. LiBOB that it is coarsely crystalline and completely soluble present as a LiBOB•(n 5-membered ring ester) complex, wherein n is between 0.01 and 3, wherein the turbidity of a 15% solution of the LiBOB in acetonitrile is at most 100 NTU. 2. LiBOB according to claim 1 , wherein the 5-membered ring ester is at least one member selected from the group consisting of a 1,3-dioxolan-2-one compound and a γ-lactone. 3. LiBOB according to claim 2 , wherein the 1,3-dioxolan-2-one compound is selected from the group consisting of 1,3-dioxolan-2-one, 4-methyl-1,3-dioxolan-2-one and 4-ethyl-1,3-dioxolan-2-one. 4. LiBOB according to claim 2 , wherein γ-lactone is selected from the group consisting of γ-butyrolactone and γ-valerolactone. 5. LiBOB according to claim 1 , wherein a median of the largest diameter of primary crystallites of the LiBOB is 50 μm to 5 mm. 6. LiBOB according to claim 1 , wherein less than 20 wt. % of the LiBOB is below half a length of the median of the largest diameter of primary crystallites of the LiBOB. 7. LiBOB according to claim 1 , wherein the LiBOB has a volume of primary crystallites, wherein the volume of primary crystallites of the LiBOB is between 0.01 and 100 mm 3 . 8. LiBOB according to claim 1 , wherein the LiBOB has a dust content below 10 wt. %. 9. LiBOB according to claim 7 , wherein the LiBOB has a dust content below 10 wt. %. 10. LiBOB according to claim 1 , wherein the LiBOB is free from organic substances other than a 1,3-dioxolan-2-one compound or a γ-lactone. 11. An electrolyte for a galvanic element comprising the LiBOB•(n 5-membered ring ester) complex of claim 1 . 12. A LiBOB that is present as a LiBOB•(n 5-membered ring ester) complex, wherein n is between 0.01 and 3.44, wherein the LiBOB is coarsely crystalline and completely soluble present as a wherein turbidity of a 15% solution of the LiBOB in acetonitrile is at most 100 NTU and wherein the LiBOB is free from organic substances other than a 1,3-dioxolan-2-one compound or a γ-lactone.
