Inorganic fiber paper including bio-soluble inorganic fibers which have been subjected to a heat treatment and a binder. A method for producing inorganic fiber paper including: the first step of subjecting amorphous bio-soluble inorganic fibers to a heat treatment; and the second step of making paper comprising the heat-treated bio-soluble inorganic fibers and a binder. Equipment for heating and/or thermal insulation which includes the inorganic fiber paper.

Inorganic fiber paper comprising: bio-soluble inorganic fibers which have the following compositions: SiO 2 : 66 to 82 wt % CaO: 1 to 9 wt % MgO: 10 to 30 wt % Al 2 O 3 : 1 to 3 wt %, and which have been subjected to a heat treatment at a temperature at least 400° C., but lower than the crystallization temperature of the fibers, and a binder, which paper exhibits recovery after compression-heating of at least 60% of its pre-compression…
