The present disclosure provides a lift truck attachment system that includes a lift truck weighing device with a carriage mounted scale configured to support load handling fixtures and to be secured to a lift truck carriage. The weighing device includes one or more sensors arranged at a mounting interface between the lift truck carriage and the carriage mounted scale. The lift truck weighing device includes one or more of rails, plates, and/or mounting brackets, as a list of non-limiting examples, arranged at the interface with the one or more sensors, which measure a load from the load handling fixtures.

A lift truck weighing device comprising: a mounting plate configured to secure the lift truck weighing device to a lift truck carriage; a loading plate configured to be secured to the mounting plate and to support one or more load handling fixtures, wherein the loading plate defines a first fastener-receiving hole, a second fastener-receiving hole, and a first opening arranged between the first fastener-receiving hole and the second fastener-receiving hole; and a first load sensor configured to measure forces on the loading plate from the one or more load handling fixtures, wherein the loading plate is configured to house the first load sensor within the first opening. 11 . The lift truck weighing device of claim 10 , further comprising one or more support elements configured to secure the first load sensor within the first opening. 12 . The lift truck weighing device of claim 10 , further comprising a filling material configured to fill the first opening around the first load sensor, wherein: the loading plate is formed from a load plate material; and the filling material is a different material than the load plate material. 13 . The lift truck weighing device of claim 10 , wherein the first opening is arranged horizontally between the first fastener-receiving hole and the second fastener-receiving hole. 14 . The lift truck weighing device of claim 10 , wherein the first opening is arranged vertically between the first fastener-receiving hole and the second fastener-receiving hole. 15 . The lift truck weighing device of claim 10 , further comprising a second load sensor, wherein: the loading plate further defines a third fastener-receiving hole, a fourth fastener-receiving hole, and a second opening arranged between the third fastener-receiving hole and the fourth fastener-receiving hole; and the loading plate is configured to house the second load sensor within the second opening. 16 . The lift truck weighing device of claim 15 , wherein the first opening is arranged at a first horizontal end of the loading plate and the second opening is arranged at a second horizontal end of the loading plate opposite the first horizontal end. 17 . The lift truck weighing device of claim 10 , further comprising: a first fastener configured to extend through the first fastener-receiving hole to secure the loading plate to the mounting plate; and a second fastener configured to extend through the second fastener-receiving hole to secure the loading plate to the mounting plate. 18 . The lift truck weighing device of claim 17 , further comprising one or more third fasteners to secure the mounting plate to the lift truck carriage. 19 . The lift truck weighing device of claim 17 , wherein the first fastener and the second fastener are further configured to secure the mounting plate to the lift truck carriage. 20 . A lift truck weighing device comprising: a first rail secured to a lift truck carriage and comprising a first rail fastener-receiving hole; a carriage mounted scale configured to support one or more load handling fixtures and directly mounted to the first rail, the carriage mounted scale comprising a first scale fastener-receiving hole; a first fastener configured to secure the carriage mounted scale to the first rail by extending through the first scale fastener-receiving hole and into the first rail fastener-receiving hole; and a first incorporated sensor incorporated into the first fastener and configured to measure a load from the one or more load handling fixtures. 21 . The lift truck weighing device of claim 20 , further comprising a second fastener and a second incorporated sensor, wherein: the first rail further comprises a second rail fastener-receiving hole; the carriage mounted scale further comprises a second scale fastener-receiving hole; the second fastener is configured to secure the carriage mounted scale to the first rail by extending through the second scale fastener-receiving hole and into the second rail fastener-receiving hole; and the second incorporated sensor is incorporated into the second fastener and configured to measure the load from the one or more load handling fixtures. 22 . The lift truck weighing device of claim 21 , further comprising a second rail, a third fastener, a fourth fastener, a third incorporated sensor, and a fourth incorporated sensor, wherein: the second rail is configured to be secured to the lift truck carriage and comprises a third rail fastener-receiving hole and a fourth rail fastener-receiving hole; the carriage mounted scale further comprises a third scale fastener-receiving hole and a fourth scale fastener-receiving hole; the third fastener is configured to secure the carriage mounted scale to the second rail by extending through the third scale fastener-receiving hole and into the third rail fastener-receiving hole; the fourth fastener is configured to secure the carriage mounted scale to the second rail by extending through the fourth scale fastener-receiving hole and into the fourth rail fastener-receiving hole; the third incorporated sensor is incorporated into the third fastener and configured to measure the load from the one or more load handling fixtures; and the fourth incorporated sensor is incorporated into the fourth fastener and configured to measure the load from the one or more load handling fixtures. 23 . The lift truck weighing device of claim 22 wherein: the first scale fastener-receiving hole and the second scale fastener-receiving hole are horizontally arranged; and the third scale fastener-receiving hole and the fourth scale fastener-receiving hole are horizontally arranged. 24 . The lift truck weighing device of claim 20 , further comprising a second rail arranged below the first rail and configured to bear a load, a second fastener, and a second incorporated sensor, wherein: the second rail further comprises a second rail fastener-receiving hole; the carriage mounted scale further comprises a second scale fastener-receiving hole; the second fastener is configured to secure the carriage mounted scale to the second rail by extending through the second scale fastener-receiving hole and into the second rail fastener-receiving hole; and the second incorporated sensor is incorporated into the second fastener and configured to measure the load from the one or more load handling fixtures. 25 . A lift truck weighing device comprising: a carriage mounted scale configured to support one or more load handling fixtures, wherein: the carriage mounted scale comprises a top portion, a bottom portion, a central portion, and a first mounting bracket mounted to the central portion, and the first mounting bracket is configured to interface with one or more rails secured to a lift truck carriage to mount the carriage mounted scale to the lift truck carriage; and a first sensor arranged within the carriage mounted scale between the top portion and the bottom portion, the first sensor configured to measure a load from the one or more load handling fixtures. 26 . The lift truck weighing device of claim 25 , wherein the first sensor is incorporated within the first mounting bracket. 27 . The lift truck weighing device of claim 25 , further comprising a second sensor arranged within the carriage mounted scale between the top portion and the bottom portion, the second sensor configured to measure the load from the one or more load handling fixtures. 28 .
