Abstract

A laundry washing machine including an outer cabinet, a washing tub containing a washing drum, a liquid supply system, a draining system. A filtering group assembly (30; 230) is arranged in a flow path between the liquid supply system and the draining system and including a housing body, an inlet, a microparticles filter device including a first filtering chamber housed in the housing body, the first filtering chamber including a microparticles filter element having a filtering surface, a main outlet. A cleaning device is movably arranged in the first filtering chamber for moving microparticles removed from the filtering surface towards a storage volume of a collecting chamber arranged at a side of the first filtering chamber and in communication therewith. The filtering group assembly includes an objects filter device including a second filtering chamber housed in the housing body, the second filtering chamber including an objects filter element for stopping objects contained in the liquid to be filtered when the liquid flows therethrough.

First claim

1 . A laundry washing machine comprising:
an outer cabinet; a washing tub containing a washing drum suited to receive the laundry to be washed; a liquid supply system suitable to convey liquid to the washing tub; a draining system to drain liquid outside the outer cabinet; a filtering group assembly arranged in a flow path between the liquid supply system and the draining system, the filtering group assembly comprising:
a housing body;
an inlet for liquid to be filtered;
a microparticles filter device comprising a first filtering chamber housed in the housing body, the first filtering chamber comprising a microparticles filter element having a filtering surface on which microparticles accumulate while the liquid flows therethrough;
a main outlet for filtered liquid hydraulically communicating with the first filtering chamber; and
a cleaning device movably arranged in the first filtering chamber for removing microparticles that accumulate on the filtering surface, the cleaning device moving microparticles removed from the filtering surface towards a storage volume of a collecting chamber arranged at a side of the first filtering chamber and in communication therewith;
wherein the filtering group assembly comprises an objects filter device comprising a second filtering chamber housed in the housing body, the second filtering chamber comprising an objects filter element for stopping objects contained in the liquid to be filtered when the liquid flows therethrough, wherein the objects filter device is provided in a position opposite to the collecting chamber and located between the inlet and the microparticles filter device, the second filtering chamber receiving a portion of the cleaning device therein.

2 . The laundry washing machine according to claim 1 , wherein the microparticles filter device is a filter suitable to filter particles having a minimum dimension ranging from 0.1 μm and 5 mm.

3 . The laundry washing machine according to claim 1 , wherein the objects filter device is a filter suitable to filter objects having a maximum dimension greater than 5 mm.

4 . The laundry washing machine according to claim 1 , wherein the filtering group assembly is arranged in the draining system.

The laundry washing machine according to claim 1 , wherein the liquid supply system includes at least one recirculation system for draining liquid from a bottom region of the washing tub to a second region of the washing tub, the at least one recirculation system comprising a recirculation pump arranged downstream the filtering group assembly and the filtering group assembly comprising a further outlet operatively connected to the recirculation pump.

6 . The laundry washing machine according to claim 5 , wherein the further outlet hydraulically communicates with the second filtering chamber.

7 . The laundry washing machine according to claim 1 , wherein the collecting chamber is configured to be removably coupled the housing body.

The laundry washing machine according to claim 1 , wherein the cleaning device comprises at least a portion extending into the storage volume of the collecting chamber thereby providing an extraction aid member to remove the cleaning device from the housing body when the collecting chamber is removed from the housing body.

9 . The laundry washing machine according to claim 1 , wherein the microparticles filter element is removably arranged in the first filtering chamber and/or the objects filter element of the objects filter device is removably arranged in the second filtering chamber.

10 . The laundry washing machine according to claim 1 , wherein the cleaning device is configured to be removably coupled to the first filtering chamber and the second filtering chamber.

11 . The laundry washing machine according to claim 1 , wherein the cleaning device comprises a rotatable element configured to remove microparticles that accumulate on the filtering surface of the microparticles filter element.

12 . The laundry washing machine according to claim 11 , wherein the rotatable element comprises a worm comprising a central shaft body and a helix-shaped element winding around the central shaft body.

13 . The laundry washing machine according to claim 1 , further comprising an actuating device for moving the cleaning device.

14 . The laundry washing machine according to claim 13 , wherein the actuating device is provided in a position opposite to the collecting chamber.

15 . The laundry washing machine according to claim 1 , wherein the cleaning device and the collecting chamber are removably coupled one another, so that when the collecting chamber is removed from the housing body the collecting chamber is disconnected from the cleaning device.

16 . The laundry washing machine according to claim 1 , wherein the outer cabinet further comprises an aperture so that the collecting chamber of the microparticles filter device is accessible therefrom.

17 . The laundry washing machine according to claim 16 , wherein the outer cabinet further comprises an openable door associated to the aperture.

18 . The laundry washing machine according to claim 1 , wherein the microparticles filter element is a disposable filter element.
