A system and method for cleaning an electronic device with dry ice is shown and described. The Method includes placing an electronic device in a first location to be cleaned. Applying dry ice to each side of the electronic device. Applying air to each side of the electronic device. Removing the electronic device from the first location.

What is claimed: 1 . A method for cleaning an electronic device with dry ice, the method comprising: placing an electronic device in a first location to be cleaned; applying dry ice to each side of the electronic device; applying air to each side of the electronic device; removing the electronic device from the first location. 2 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising entering the electronic device into a tracking system. 3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the electronic device is moved into the location to be cleaned via a conveyor. 4 . The method of claim 3 , further comprising removing the electronic device from the conveyor and placing the device in front of a nozzle which will apply the dry ice. 5 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising determining the flow rate and particle size of the dry ice to be applied. 6 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising determining the type of electric device. 7 . The method of claim 6 , further comprising determining a cleaning pattern based on device type. 8 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising selecting a cleaning pattern based on the cleaning type desired. 9 . A method for cleaning an electronic device with dry ice, the method comprising: placing an electronic device in a first location to be cleaned, wherein the first location is on a first conveyor; removing the electronic device from the first conveyor via a robot arm; applying dry ice to each side of the electronic device; applying air to each side of the electronic device; removing the electronic device from the first location. 10 . The method of claim 9 , wherein the electronic device is secured to the robot arm via a suction device. 11 . The method of claim 10 , wherein only five sides of an electronic device are cleaned upon removal from the desired location. 12 . The method of claim 11 , further comprising placing the electronic device on a second conveyor such that a cleaned surface of the electronic device is placed on the conveyor. 13 . The method of claim 12 , further comprising applying, for a second time, dry ice to the electronic device, such that the final surface is cleaned. 14 . The method of claim 13 , further comprising applying, for a second time, air to the electronic device. 15 . The method of claim 9 , further comprising entering the electronic device into a tracking system. 16 . The method of claim 9 , further comprising determining the flow rate and particle size of the dry ice to be applied. 17 . The method of claim 9 , further comprising determining the type of electric device. 18 . The method of claim 17 , further comprising determining a cleaning pattern based on device type. 19 . The method of claim 9 , further comprising selecting a cleaning pattern based on the cleaning type desired.
