Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

The present disclosure generally relates to time interfaces (e.g., watch face user interfaces). In some embodiments, a computer system displays a time user interface that includes a condensed or expanded representation of time, based on whether an ongoing activity is currently active. In some embodiments, the state of on ongoing activity is synchronized across multiple computer systems. In some embodiments, a computer system includes different widgets in a set of widgets, depending on a current context. In some embodiments, one or more elements of a condensed representation of time are based on one or more elements of a corresponding expanded representation of time.

1 - 116 . (canceled) 117 . A computer system configured to communicate with one or more display generation components and one or more input devices, comprising: one or more processors; and memory storing one or more programs configured to be executed by the one or more processors, the one or more programs including instructions for: receiving, via the one or more input devices, a request to display a time user interface; in response to receiving the request to display the time user interface: in accordance with a determination that an activity of a first type is in progress, and a first style has been selected for the time user interface, displaying, via the one or more display generation components, a first time user interface that includes a first condensed representation of a current time that is displayed concurrently with a representation of the activity of the first type; and in accordance with a determination that an activity of the first type is not in progress and the first style has been selected for the time user interface, displaying, via the one or more display generation components, a second time user interface that includes a first expanded representation of the current time without including a representation of an activity of the first type, wherein: the first condensed representation of the current time on the first time user interface is smaller than the first expanded representation of the current time on the second time user interface; and both the first condensed representation of the current time and the first expanded representation of the current time are displayed with an appearance that is based on the first style; and in accordance with a determination that an activity of the first type is in progress and a second style, different from the first style, has been selected for the time user interface, displaying, via the one or more display generation components, a third time user interface that includes a second condensed representation of a current time that is displayed concurrently with the representation of the activity of the first type; and in accordance with a determination that an activity of the first type is not in progress and the second style has been selected for the time user interface, displaying, via the one or more display generation components, a fourth time user interface that includes a second expanded representation of the current time without including a representation of an activity of the first type, wherein: the second condensed representation of the current time on the third time user interface is smaller than the second expanded representation of the current time on the fourth time user interface; both the second condensed representation of the current time and the second expanded representation of the current time are displayed with an appearance that is based on the second style; the first expanded representation of the current time has a different appearance than the second expanded representation of the current time; and the first condensed representation of the current time has a different appearance than the second condensed representation of the current time. 118 . The computer system of claim 117 , wherein the activity of the first type is an activity that has a state that is updated over time, the one or more programs further including instructions for: detecting a change in the state of the activity of the first type from a first state to a second state; and in response to detecting the change in the state of the activity of the first type, updating the representation of the activity of the first type based on the second state of the activity of the first type. 119 . The computer system of claim 117 , wherein the first condensed representation of the current time includes date information. 120 . The computer system of claim 117 , wherein the representation of the activity of the first type is a user-selectable graphical user interface object that is displayed as part of a plurality of user-selectable graphical user interface objects. 121 . The computer system of claim 120 , wherein the plurality of user-selectable graphical user interface objects includes: a first user-selectable graphical user interface object that corresponds to a first application; and a second user-selectable graphical user interface object that corresponds to a second application, different from the first application. 122 . The computer system of claim 120 , the one or more programs further including instructions for: while the plurality of user-selectable graphical user interface objects is displayed, detecting, via the one or more input devices, a first user input; and in response to detecting the first user input, updating the plurality of user-selectable graphical user interface objects to include a third user-selectable graphical object. 123 . The computer system of claim 117 , wherein the representation of the activity of the first type includes a first set of information corresponding to the activity of the first type, the one or more programs further including instructions for: while the representation of the activity of the first type is displayed, detecting, via the one or more input devices, a second user input; and in response to detecting the second user input: ceasing to display the representation of the activity of the first type; and displaying an indicator of the activity of the first type that includes a second set of information corresponding to the activity of the first type, wherein the first set of information corresponding to the activity of the first type includes first information that is not included in the second set of information corresponding to the activity of the first type. 124 . The computer system of claim 123 , wherein displaying the indicator of the activity of the first type includes: in accordance with a determination that the activity of the first type corresponds to an electronic device of a first type, displaying the indicator of the activity of the first type with a first visual appearance; and in accordance with a determination that the activity of the first type corresponds to an electronic device of a second type, different from the first type, displaying the indicator of the activity of the first type with a second visual appearance, different from the first visual appearance. 125 . The computer system of claim 123 , wherein displaying the indicator of the activity of the first type includes: in accordance with a determination that the activity of the first type is in a first state, displaying the indicator of the activity of the first type with a first animated effect; and in accordance with a determination that the activity of the first type is in a second state different from the first state, displaying the indicator of the activity of the first type without the first animated effect. 126 . The computer system of claim 123 , wherein the indicator of the activity of the first type, when displayed, is displayed at a first location of the one or more display generation components, the one or more programs further including instructions for: receiving data corresponding to a notification event; and in response to receiving the data corresponding to the notification event, displaying, at the first location, a notification indicator. 127 . The computer system of claim 123 , wherein the activity of the first type corresponds to a respective application, the one or more programs further including instructions for: detecting, via the one or more input devices, a user input corresponding to the indicator of the activity of the first type; and in response
