An electrode for lithium ion batteries, containing a sulfonic acid compound which contains a sulfonate anion represented by the following Formula (1) and a Mn cation, in the Formula (1), R represents an alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms, which may be substituted with a fluorine atom, an alkenyl group having 2 to 5 carbon atoms, which may be substituted with a fluorine atom, an alkynyl group having 2 to 5 carbon atoms, which May be substituted with a fluorine atom, or an aryl group which may be substituted with a fluorine atom.

An electrode for lithium ion batteries, comprising: a sulfonic acid compound comprising a sulfonate anion represented by the following Formula (1) and a Mn cation, in the Formula (1), R represents an alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms, which may be substituted with a fluorine atom, an alkenyl group having 2 to 5 carbon atoms, which may be substituted with a fluorine atom, an alkynyl group having 2 to 5 carbon atoms, which may be substituted with a fluorine atom, or an aryl group which may be substituted with a fluorine atom. 2 . The electrode for lithium ion batteries according to claim 1 , wherein the sulfonic acid compound is a compound represented by the following Formula (2), in the Formula (2), R represents an alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms, which may be substituted with a fluorine atom, an alkenyl group having 2 to 5 carbon atoms, which may be substituted with a fluorine atom, an alkynyl group having 2 to 5 carbon atoms, which may be substituted with a fluorine atom, or an aryl group which may be substituted with a fluorine atom. 3 . The electrode for lithium ion batteries according to claim 1 , wherein R is an alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms, which may be substituted with a fluorine atom. 4 . A lithium ion battery comprising: a positive electrode and a negative electrode arranged opposite to each other, and an electrolyte solution, wherein at least one of the positive electrode or the negative electrode comprises a sulfonic acid compound comprising a sulfonate anion represented by the following Formula (1) and a Mn cation, in the Formula (1), R represents an alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms, which may be substituted with a fluorine atom, an alkenyl group having 2 to 5 carbon atoms, which may be substituted with a fluorine atom, an alkynyl group having 2 to 5 carbon atoms, which may be substituted with a fluorine atom, or an aryl group which may be substituted with a fluorine atom. 5 . The lithium ion battery according to claim 4 , wherein the sulfonic acid compound is a compound represented by the following Formula (2), in the Formula (2), R represents an alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms, which may be substituted with a fluorine atom, an alkenyl group having 2 to 5 carbon atoms, which may be substituted with a fluorine atom, an alkynyl group having 2 to 5 carbon atoms, which may be substituted with a fluorine atom, or an aryl group which may be substituted with a fluorine atom.
