Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

A display device includes a display area which includes a first display area including a plurality of first pixels and a second display area including at least one second pixel and at least one light-transmitting portion, a peripheral area disposed around the display area, a data line including a first portion and a second portion spaced apart from each other in a predetermined direction with the light-transmitting portion therebetween, and a conductive pattern disposed at a different conductive layer from the data line. The conductive pattern includes a first pattern portion including a bypass portion that bypasses a periphery of the second display area in a plan view and disposed in the first display area, and the first pattern portion includes a first end electrically connected to the first portion of the data line and a second end electrically connected to the second portion of the data line.

What is claimed is: 1 . A display device comprising: a display area including a first area including a plurality of first light emitting diodes of first pixels, and a second area which is surrounded by the first area and including a plurality of second light emitting diodes of second pixels; a peripheral area outside of the display area; a data line including a first portion and a second portion spaced apart from each other, the first portion and the second portion opposing each other with the second area interposed between the first portion and the second portion in a plan view, the first portion and the second portion being electrically connected to each other; and a conductive line in the first area, wherein a virtual extension line of the first portion and a virtual extension line of the second portion are on a same straight line, and the first portion of the data line is electrically connected to the conductive line at a first contact area in the peripheral area. 2 . The display device of claim 1 , further comprising: a driving circuit part electrically connected to the data line, wherein a distance between the driving circuit part and the first contact area is greater than a distance between the driving circuit part and the second area. 3 . The display device of claim 2 , wherein the second portion of the data line is electrically connected to the conductive line at a second contact area in the display area. 4 . The display device of claim 3 , wherein the first contact area and the second contact area oppose each other with the second area disposed between the first contact area and the second contact area in the plan view. 5 . The display device of claim 1 , wherein the conductive line comprises a third portion extending substantially parallel with the data line in the first area, and a fourth portion extending in a different direction from the third portion, and the first portion of the data line is electrically connected to the fourth portion of the conductive line. 6 . The display device of claim 5 , wherein the second portion of the data line is electrically connected to the conductive line at a second contact area in the peripheral area, and the first contact area and the second contact area oppose each other with the display area disposed between the first contact area and the second contact area in the plan view. 7 . The display device of claim 6 , wherein the fourth portion of the conductive line has a portion disposed at a different conductive layer from the data line. 8 . The display device of claim 5 , further comprising: a substrate on which the data line and the conductive line are disposed, wherein the fourth portion is disposed farther from an upper surface of the substrate than the data line along a direction perpendicular to the upper surface of the substrate. 9 . The display device of claim 1 , wherein the second area comprises a transmitting area, and a number of the first light emitting diodes per unit area in the first area is different from a number of the second light emitting diodes per unit area in the second area. 10 . The display device of claim 1 , wherein each of the first pixels further includes a first transistor electrically connected to the first light emitting diode, and each of the second pixels further includes a second transistor electrically connected to the second light emitting diode. 11 . A device comprising: a display panel; and an optical element, wherein the display panel comprises: a display area including a first area including a plurality of first light emitting diodes of first pixels, and a second area which is surrounded by the first area and including a plurality of second light emitting diodes of second pixels; a peripheral area outside of the display area; a data line including a first portion and a second portion spaced apart from each other, the first portion and the second portion opposing each other with the second area interposed between the first portion and the second portion in a plan view, the first portion and the second portion being electrically connected to each other; and a conductive line in the first area, wherein, a first virtual extension line of the first portion and a second virtual extension line of the second portion are on a same straight line, the first portion of the data line is electrically connected to the conductive line at a first contact area in the peripheral area, the second area comprises a transmitting area, and the optical element overlaps the transmitting area in the plan view. 12 . The display device of claim 11 , further comprising: a driving circuit part electrically connected to the data line, wherein a distance between the driving circuit part and the first contact area is greater than a distance between the driving circuit part and the second area. 13 . The display device of claim 12 , wherein the second portion of the data line is electrically connected to the conductive line at a second contact area in the display area. 14 . The display device of claim 13 , wherein the first contact area and the second contact area oppose each other with the second area disposed between the first contact area and the second contact area in the plan view. 15 . The device of claim 11 , wherein the conductive line comprises a third portion extending substantially parallel with the data line in the first area, and a fourth portion extending in a different direction from the third portion, and the first portion of the data line is electrically connected to the fourth portion of the conductive line. 16 . The device of claim 15 , wherein the second portion of the data line is electrically connected to the conductive line at a second contact area in the peripheral area, and the first contact area and the second contact area oppose each other with the display area disposed between the first contact area and the second contact area in the plan view. 17 . The device of claim 16 , wherein the fourth portion of the conductive line has a portion disposed at a different conductive layer from the data line. 18 . The display device of claim 15 , further comprising: a substrate on which the data line and the conductive line are disposed, wherein the fourth portion is disposed farther from an upper surface of the substrate than the data line along a direction perpendicular to the upper surface of the substrate. 19 .
