According to some embodiments, the process includes the steps of: a) taking a sagittal preoperative x-ray of the vertebral column of the patient to be treated, extending from the cervical vertebrae to the femoral heads; b) on that x-ray, identifying points on S1, S2, T12 et C7; c) depicting, on the said x-ray, curved segments beginning at the center of the plate of S1 et going to the center of the plate of C7; e) identifying, on that x-ray, the correction(s) to be made to the vertebral column, including the identification of posterior osteotomies to make; f) pivoting portions of said x-ray relative to other portions of that x-ray, according to osteotomies to be made; g) performing, on said x-ray, a displacement of the sagittal curvature segment extending over the vertebral segment to be corrected; h) from a straight vertebral rod (TV), producing the curvature of that rod according to the shape of said sagittal curvature segment in said displacement position.

What is claimed is: 1 . An electronic interface configured to: access one or more representations of a vertebral column of a patient; calculate curvatures of a first curved segment and a second curved segment of the vertebral column based on the one or more representations; generate a spinal rod specification for use by a manufacturing apparatus to manufacture an implantable spinal rod, the generated specification based on the calculated curvatures; and provide, to a practitioner, information based on the spinal rod specification, allowing the practitioner to manufacture the implantable spinal rod according to the specification. 2 . The electronic interface of claim 1 , wherein the electronic interface is configured to generate the spinal rod specification by analyzing the one or more representations to determine a diameter of the implantable spinal rod. 3 . The electronic interface of claim 1 , wherein the one or more representations comprise one or more preoperative x-ray images. 4 . The electronic interface of claim 3 , wherein the one or more preoperative x-ray images comprise one or more sagittal x-ray images and/or one or more frontal x-ray images. 5 . The electronic interface of claim 1 , wherein the first curved segment comprises sacral vertebrae of the vertebral column or cervical vertebrae of the vertebral column. 6 . The electronic interface of claim 1 , wherein the first curved segment comprises one or more vertebrae between L 1 to L 5 . 7 . The electronic interface of claim 1 , wherein the first curved segment comprises one or more vertebrae between the first vertebra of the sacrum of the patient and a lower plate of a reference dorsal vertebra of the patient. 8 . The electronic interface of claim 7 , wherein the first curved segment is tangent to a straight line from the center of the second vertebra of the sacrum of the patient to the center of the first vertebra of the sacrum of the patient. 9 . The electronic interface of claim 1 , wherein, prior to analyzing the one or more representations to determine the first curvature, modifying the one or more representations of the vertebral column of the patient by pivoting one or more portions of the one or more representations of the vertebral column of the patient. 10 . The electronic interface of claim 9 , wherein pivoting the one or more portions of the one or more representations of the vertebral column of the patient comprises: pivoting a first portion relative to a portion of the one or more representations comprising LA; and pivoting a second portion relative to the portion of the one or more representations comprising L 4 to determine one or more corrections to be made to the vertebral column. 11 . The electronic interface of claim 1 , wherein the electronic interface is further configured to determine a length of a vertebral segment to be corrected by: receiving one or more indications of corrections to be made to the vertebral column; and for each vertebra of the vertebral segment to be corrected: calculating a distance from a center of a body of the vertebra to an entry face of a pedicle screw in a pedicle of the vertebra; or obtaining the distance from a database containing, for each vertebra, a mean value, established statistically of the distance for a type of patient based on age, gender, and size. 12 . The electronic interface of claim 11 , wherein receiving the one or more indications of corrections comprises receiving indications of posterior osteotomies to be performed on one or more plates of a lumbar vertebrae to obtain a corrected lumbar curvature. 13 . The electronic interface of claim 11 , wherein receiving the one or more indications of corrections comprises indications of posterior osteotomies to be performed on one or more plates of a lumbar vertebrae to obtain a corrected lumbar curvature. 14 . The electronic interface of claim 11 , wherein receiving the one or more indications of corrections comprises receiving shape information of one or more vertebral implants to be inserted into one or more intervertebral spaces to obtain a corrected lumbar curvature. 15 . An electronic interface configured to: access one or more representations of a vertebral column of a patient; receive one or more indications of corrections to be made to the vertebral column; modify the one or more representations according to the received one or more corrections; calculate curvatures of a first curved segment and a second curved segment of the vertebral column based on the modified one or more representations; generate a spinal rod specification for use by a manufacturing apparatus to manufacture an implantable spinal rod, the generated specification based on the calculated curvatures; and provide, to a practitioner, information based on the spinal rod specification, allowing the practitioner to manufacture the implantable spinal rod according to the specification. 16 . The electronic interface of claim 15 , wherein the electronic interface is configured to generate the spinal rod specification by analyzing the modified one or more representations to determine a diameter of the implantable spinal rod. 17 . The electronic interface of claim 15 , wherein the electronic interface is further configured to determine a length of a vertebral segment to be corrected by: for each vertebra of the vertebral segment to be corrected: calculating a distance from a center of a body of the vertebra to an entry face of a pedicle screw in a pedicle of the vertebra; or obtaining the distance from a database containing, for each vertebra, a mean value, established statistically of the distance for a type of patient based on age, gender, and size. 18 . The electronic interface of claim 15 , wherein receiving the one or more indications of corrections comprises receiving indications of posterior osteotomies to be performed on one or more plates of a lumbar vertebrae to obtain a corrected lumbar curvature. 19 . The electronic interface of claim 15 , wherein receiving the one or more indications of corrections comprises indications of posterior osteotomies to be performed on one or more plates of a lumbar vertebrae to obtain a corrected lumbar curvature. 20 . The electronic interface of claim 15 , wherein receiving the one or more indications of corrections comprises receiving shape information of one or more vertebral implants to be inserted into one or more intervertebral spaces to obtain a corrected lumbar curvature.
