An electronic device displays a menu of applications in a first arrangement style. In response to detecting user input corresponding to the menu of applications, the electronic device displays an option to change an arrangement style of the menu of applications in accordance with a determination that the user input satisfies a set of one or more criteria. In response to detecting user input corresponding to selection of the option to change the arrangement style of the menu of applications, the electronic device displays the menu of applications in a second arrangement style that is different from the first arrangement style.

What is claimed is: 1 . An electronic device that is configured to communicate with a display device and one or more input devices, the electronic device comprising: one or more processors; and memory storing one or more programs configured to be executed by the one or more processors, the one or more programs including instructions for: while displaying, via the display device, a menu of applications in a first arrangement style, detecting, via the one or more input devices, user input corresponding to the menu of applications; in response to detecting the user input corresponding to the menu of applications: in accordance with a determination that the user input corresponding to the menu of applications satisfies a set of one or more criteria, displaying, via the display device, a user interface object corresponding to an option to change an arrangement style of the menu of applications; while displaying, via the display device, the user interface object corresponding to the option to change the arrangement style of the menu of applications in accordance with the determination that the user input corresponding to the menu of applications satisfies the set of one or more criteria, detecting, via the one or more input devices, user input corresponding to selection of the option to change the arrangement style of the menu of applications; and in response to detecting the user input corresponding to selection of the option to change the arrangement style of the menu of applications, displaying, via the display device, the menu of applications in a second arrangement style that is different from the first arrangement style. 2 . The electronic device of claim 1 , wherein the one or more programs further include instructions for: in response to detecting the user input corresponding to the menu of applications: in accordance with a determination that the user input corresponding to the menu of applications does not satisfy the set of one or more criteria, forgoing display of the user interface object corresponding to the option to change the arrangement style of the menu of applications. 3 . The electronic device of claim 1 , wherein the one or more programs further include instructions for: prior to displaying the menu of applications in the first arrangement style, displaying, via the display device, an ordered set of application views; while displaying the ordered set of application views, detecting, via the one or more input devices, a user input corresponding to a request to display the menu of applications; and in response to detecting the user input corresponding to the request to display the menu of applications, displaying, via the display device, the menu of applications in the first arrangement style. 4 . The electronic device of claim 3 , wherein detecting the user input corresponding to the request to display the menu of applications includes detecting the user input corresponding to the request to display the menu of applications while displaying a terminus of the ordered set of application views. 5 . The electronic device of claim 1 , wherein the first arrangement style of the menu of applications includes a grid of application icons. 6 . The electronic device of claim 1 , wherein the first arrangement style of the menu of applications includes a list of representations of applications. 7 . The electronic device of claim 6 , wherein the list includes a list of representations of applications in alphabetical order. 8 . The electronic device of claim 1 , wherein the user interface object corresponding to the option to change the arrangement style of the menu of applications includes an indication of the second arrangement style of the menu of applications. 9 . The electronic device of claim 1 , wherein displaying the user interface object corresponding to the option to change the arrangement style of the menu of applications includes: in accordance with a determination that the first arrangement style of the menu of applications is of a first type, displaying the user interface object corresponding to the option to change the arrangement style of the menu of applications with a first appearance; and in accordance with a determination that the first arrangement style of the menu of applications is of a second type that is different from the first type, displaying the user interface object corresponding to the option to change the arrangement style of the menu of applications with a second appearance that is different from the first appearance. 10 . The electronic device of claim 1 , wherein displaying the menu of applications in the second arrangement style that is different from the first arrangement style includes displaying an animated transition from the menu of applications in the first arrangement style to the menu of applications in the second arrangement style. 11 . A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing one or more programs configured to be executed by one or more processors of an electronic device that is in communication with a display device and one or more input devices, the one or more programs including instructions for: while displaying, via the display device, a menu of applications in a first arrangement style, detecting, via the one or more input devices, user input corresponding to the menu of applications; in response to detecting the user input corresponding to the menu of applications: in accordance with a determination that the user input corresponding to the menu of applications satisfies a set of one or more criteria, displaying, via the display device, a user interface object corresponding to an option to change an arrangement style of the menu of applications; while displaying, via the display device, the user interface object corresponding to the option to change the arrangement style of the menu of applications in accordance with the determination that the user input corresponding to the menu of applications satisfies the set of one or more criteria, detecting, via the one or more input devices, user input corresponding to selection of the option to change the arrangement style of the menu of applications; and in response to detecting the user input corresponding to selection of the option to change the arrangement style of the menu of applications, displaying, via the display device, the menu of applications in a second arrangement style that is different from the first arrangement style. 12 . A method, comprising: at an electronic device that is in communication with a display device and one or more input devices: while displaying, via the display device, a menu of applications in a first arrangement style, detecting, via the one or more input devices, user input corresponding to the menu of applications; in response to detecting the user input corresponding to the menu of applications: in accordance with a determination that the user input corresponding to the menu of applications satisfies a set of one or more criteria, displaying, via the display device, a user interface object corresponding to an option to change an arrangement style of the menu of applications; while displaying, via the display device, the user interface object corresponding to the option to change the arrangement style of the menu of applications in accordance with the determination that the user input corresponding to the menu of applications satisfies the set of one or more criteria, detecting, via the one or more input devices, user input corresponding to selection of the option to change the arrangement style of the menu of applications; and in response to detecting the user input corresponding
