1 . A method of coating an elastomeric article comprising: providing an elastomeric article comprising a first polymer latex; and coating the elastomeric article with a coating composition comprising a latex dispersion, the latex dispersion comprising: polyisoprene and a vulcanization composition comprising a source of sulfur, at least one fugitive dihydrocarbyl xanthogen polysulfide accelerator, at least one aldehyde-aniline condensate, and a metal oxide; a second polymer latex selected from the group consisting of natural rubber, polyurethane, polybutadiene, polychloroprene, nitrile rubber, block copolymers of styrene and butadiene, block copolymers of styrene and isoprene, and synthetic polyisoprene; and water. 2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein a total solids content of the coating composition is from about 3% to about 15%. 3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the second polymer latex is selected from the group consisting of nitrile and synthetic polyisoprene. 4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the coating composition is free of non-fugitive accelerators. 5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the coating composition is free of dithiocarbamates, thiurams, thiazoles, guanidines, or thioureas as accelerators. 6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the source of sulfur is selected from the group consisting of elemental sulfur, sulfur donors that have a low allergenic potential, and combinations thereof. 7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the metal oxide is selected from the group consisting of zinc oxide, magnesium oxide, lead oxide, and combinations thereof. 8 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the at least one fugitive dihydrocarbyl xanthogen polysulfide accelerator comprises diisopropyl xanthogen polysulfide. 9 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the at least one aldehyde-aniline condensate comprises heptaldehyde-aniline. 10 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the first polymer latex comprises polychloroprene, polyisoprene, or a combination thereof.
