Official abstract text for this publication.
Provided is a method for ensuring vivid colors and increasing display reliability and lifespan by implementing a colored pattern with high optical density on an electrode substrate, where the method uses a pigment dispersion in which a pigment having a size of 100 nm or less is used in order to increase the optical density and reduce roughness after completing the post-heat treatment process by including a colorant according to the present disclosure, and the method can minimize the reduction in the lifespan due to moisture in the panel state by minimizing the moisture content after completing the post-heat treatment process.

What is claimed is: 1 . A method for preparing a pixel defining layer, the method comprising steps of: applying and coating a photosensitive resin composition containing a colorant having a mean pigment particle size of 100 nm or less; performing prebaking; performing exposure; performing development; and performing post-heat treatment, wherein after the post-heat treatment step, the moisture content of the coating film is 50 ppm or less, the optical density is 0.8/μm to 2.0/μm, the roughness is 3.0 nm or less, and there is no residue. 2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the oven temperature of the post-heat treatment step is 210 to 300° C. 3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the oven temperature of the post-heat treatment step is 250 to 270° C. 4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the post-heat treatment step is performed for 30 to 120 minutes. 5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the post-heat treatment step is performed for 60 to 120 minutes. 6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the optical density of the coating film after the post-heat treatment is 0.9/μm to 1.5/μm. 7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the roughness of the coating film after the post-heat treatment is 2.5 nm or less. 8 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the photosensitive resin composition contains a colorant. 9 . The method of claim 8 , wherein the colorant includes one or more of an inorganic dye, an organic dye, an inorganic pigment, and an organic pigment. 10 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the colorant is contained in an amount of 1 to 40% by weight based on the total amount of the photosensitive resin composition. 11 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the colorant is pretreated using: a dispersant; or a water-soluble inorganic salt and a wetting agent. 12 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the photosensitive resin composition contains a patterning resin which includes an acrylic binder resin, a cardo-based binder resin, or a combination thereof. 13 . The method of claim 12 , wherein the acrylic binder resin has a weight average molecular weight of 3,000 g/mol to 150,000 g/mol. 14 . The method of claim 12 , wherein the cardo-based resin has a weight average molecular weight of 1,000 to 100,000 g/mol. 15 . The method of claim 12 , wherein the cardo-based resin is contained in an amount of 1 to 30% by weight based on the total amount of the photosensitive resin composition. 16 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the photosensitive resin composition contains a reactive unsaturated compound in an amount of 1 to 40% by weight based on the total amount of the photosensitive resin composition. 17 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the photosensitive resin composition contains a photoinitiator in an amount of 0.01 to 10% by weight based on the total amount of the photosensitive resin composition. 18 . A pixel defining layer prepared by the preparation method according to claim 1 . 19 . An organic light emitting display device comprising the pixel defining layer according to claim 18 . 20 . An electronic device comprising the display device of claim 19 and a control unit for driving the display device.
