The invention provides compounds represented by the formula (1)wherein X and Y are oxygen atoms or sulfur atoms, Z is a hydroxyl group or the like, R1 and R2 are alkyl groups and the like, R4 and R5 are alkyl groups and the like, R3 and R6 are hydrogen atoms and the like, R7 is a substituted phenyl group or the like, and Q is an aryl group or the like, or salts thereof, pest control agents containing the compounds as active ingredients, and methods for use thereof.

A compound represented by the formula (1) wherein R 1 and R 2 are each (a1) a hydrogen atom; (a2) a (C 1 -C 6 )alkyl group; (a3) a (C 2 -C 6 )alkenyl group; (a4) a (C 2 -C 6 )alkynyl group; (a5) a (C 3 -C 6 )cycloalkyl group; (a6) a (C 1 -C 6 )alkoxy group; (a7) a halo(C 1 -C 6 )alkyl group; (a8) a (C 1 -C 6 )alkylcarbonyl group; (a9) a (C 1 -C 6 )alkoxycarbonyl group; (a10) a substituted (C 1 -C 6 )alkyl group having, on a chain, 1 to 3 substituents each independently selected from a cyano group, an amino group, a (C 1 -C 6 )alkoxy group, a (C 1 -C 6 )alkylamino group, a (C 1 -C 6 )alkylcarbonylamino group, a (C 1 -C 6 )alkoxycarbonylamino group and a (C 3 -C 6 )cycloalkyl group; (a1 l) a phenyl group; (a12) a substituted phenyl group having, on a ring, 1 to 3 substituents each independently selected from the group consisting of a halogen atom, a (C 1 -C 6 )alkyl group and a (C 1 -C 6 )alkoxy group; (a13) a phenyl(C 1 -C 6 )alkyl group; or (a14) a substituted phenyl(C 1 -C 6 )alkyl group having, on a ring, 1 to 3 substituents each independently selected from the group consisting of a halogen atom, a (C 1 -C 6 )alkyl group and a (C 1 -C 6 )alkoxy group, R 1 and R 2 are optionally bonded to each other to form a 3- to 7-membered ring, R 3 is (b1) a hydrogen atom; (b2) a (C 1 -C 6 )alkyl group; or (b3) a phenyl group, R 4 and R 5 are the same or different, and each is (c1) a hydrogen atom; (c2) a (C 1 -C 6 )alkyl group; (c3) a (C 1 -C 6 )alkoxy(C 1 -C 6 )alkyl group; or (c4) a phenyl group, when R 4 is a (C 1 -C 6 )alkyl group or a (C 1 -C 6 )alkoxy(C 1 -C 6 )alkyl group, R 4 is optionally bonded to Q to form a ring, R 1 and R 2 are the same or different and are not hydrogen atoms at the same time, provided that when R 4 and Q are bonded to form a ring, then R 1 and R 2 are optionally hydrogen atoms at the same time, R 6 is (d1) a hydrogen atom; (d2) a (C 1 -C 6 )alkyl group; (d3) a (C 3 -C 6 )cycloalkyl group; (d4) a (C 1 -C 6 )alkoxy group; or (d5) a (C 1 -C 6 )alkylcarbonyl group, R 7 is (e1) a (C 1 -C 6 )alkyl group; (e2) a (C 2 -C 6 )alkenyl group;
