A combined truss adapter and bearing assembly for a tracker. The truss adapter has a pair of connecting portions and a bridge portion. The bridge portion has two pairs of opposing channels. The assembly has adapter plates on opposing surfaces of the bridge portion. Bolts extend through the adapter plates, in the channels, and to the bearing assembly to secure the bearing assembly to the bridge portion and to enable the bearing assembly to pivot with respect to the bridge portion.

1 . An assembly for a truss foundation comprising: a truss adapter having a pair of connecting portions and a bridge portion, the bridge portion having two pairs of opposing channels formed in the bridge portion; a bearing assembly forming a bearing and having a bushing rotatably supported therein; adapter plates on opposing surfaces of the bridge portion; and bolts extending through the adapter plates, in the two pairs of opposing channels, and to the bearing assembly to secure the bearing assembly to the bridge portion and to enable the bearing assembly to pivot with respect to the bridge portion. 2 . The assembly of claim 1 , wherein the bearing assembly is adjustable to different pitches about the bridge portion. 3 . The assembly of claim 2 , wherein the two pairs of opposing channels permit the adjustability to different pitches. 4 . The assembly of claim 1 , wherein the bearing assembly is adjustable to different yaw positions about the bridge portion. 5 . The assembly of claim 4 , wherein the two pairs of opposing channels permit the adjustability to different yaw positions. 6 . The assembly of claim 1 , wherein the adapter plates comprise upper and lower adapter plates. 7 . The assembly of claim 6 , wherein the upper and lower adapter plates are identical. 8 . The assembly of claim 6 , wherein the upper adapter plate has a curved lower surface to match a cross section of the bridge portion. 9 . The assembly of claim 6 , wherein the upper adapter plate provides a planar support surface for the bearing assembly. 10 . The assembly of claim 1 , wherein the bolts include four bolts. 11 . The assembly of claim 1 , wherein the bolts are secured with nuts. 12 . The assembly of claim 1 , wherein the bolts are secured with threaded compression plates.
