A pouch-type battery case is disclosed herein. The pouch-type battery case can include a cup part having a recessed shape, and a side disposed around at least a portion of the cup part. The cup part can include a base surface, a plurality of circumferential surfaces, a plurality of die edges connecting the plurality of circumferential surfaces and the side and formed to be rounded, and a plurality of thickness edges connecting the plurality of circumferential surfaces to each other and formed to be rounded. A curvature radius of each of the die edges is Rd, a curvature radius of each of the thickness edges is Rt. The Rd and Rt can satisfy a condition defined by Rd≤Rt<3*Rd is satisfied.

A pouch-type battery case comprising: a cup part defining a recessed shape; and a side disposed around of at least a portion of the cup part, wherein the cup part includes: a base surface; a plurality of circumferential surfaces; a plurality of die edges, each die edge connecting adjacent circumferential surfaces and the side, each die edge being rounded and having a curvature of radius Rd; and a plurality of thickness edges, each thickness edge connecting adjacent circumferential surfaces to each other, each thickness edge being rounded and having curvature of radius Rt, wherein, the Rd and the Rt satisfy a condition defined by Rd≤Rt<3*Rd. 2 . The pouch-type battery case of claim 1 , wherein a depth of the cup part is D, such that the Rd satisfies a condition defined by D/20≤Rd≤D/6. 3 . The pouch-type battery case of claim 1 , wherein a condition defined by 0.3 mm≤Rt<3 mm is satisfied. 4 . The pouch-type battery case of claim 1 , wherein curvature radii of the plurality of thickness edges are the same as each other. 5 . The pouch-type battery case of claim 1 , wherein curvature radii of the plurality of die edges are equal to each other. 6 . The pouch-type battery case of claim 1 , wherein a condition defined by 0.3 mm≤Rd≤1 mm is satisfied. 7 . The pouch-type battery case of claim 1 , wherein a condition defined by 0.3 mm≤Rd≤0.7 mm is satisfied. 8 . The pouch-type battery case of claim 1 , wherein the cup part further includes a plurality of punch edges connecting the base surface to the plurality of circumferential surfaces, each punch edge being rounded with a curvature of radius Rp, wherein the Rp satisfies at least a condition defined by 0.3 mm≤Rp≤1 mm or a condition Rp≤Rt<3*Rp. 9 . The pouch-type battery case of claim 8 , wherein a conditional defined by 0.3 mm≤Rp≤0.7 mm is satisfied. 10 . The pouch-type battery case of claim 8 , wherein a depth of the cup part is D, such that a condition defined by D/20≤Rp≤D/6 is satisfied. 11 . A pouch-type battery case comprising: a cup part defining a recessed shape; and a side disposed around at least a portion of the cup part, wherein the cup part includes: a base surface; a plurality of circumferential surfaces; and a plurality of die edges, each die edge connecting adjacent circumferential surfaces and the side, each die edge being rounded and having a curvature of radius Rd, wherein a depth of the cup part is D such that a condition defined by D/20≤Rd≤D/6 is satisfied. 12 . The pouch-type battery case of claim 1 , wherein a thickness of the base surface is Tb and a thickness of the side is Ts such that a condition defined by Tb≥0.8*Ts is satisfied. 13 . The pouch-type battery case of claim 12 , wherein a thickness of a pouch film of the battery case is Tf such that a condition defined by 0.8*Tf≤Tb, Ts≤Tf is satisfied. 14 . The pouch-type battery case of claim 13 , wherein a condition defined by 160 μm≤Tf≤200 μm is satisfied. 15 . The pouch-type battery case of claim 13 , wherein a condition defined by 180 μm≤Tf≤200 μm is satisfied. 16 . The pouch-type battery case of claim 12 , wherein the cup part further includes a plurality of punch edges connecting the base surface to the plurality of circumferential surfaces, each punch edge being rounded, a thickness of a pouch film of the battery case is Tf, a thickness of each of the circumferential surfaces of the cup part is Tc, a thickness of each of the punch edges is Tp, and a thickness of the die edge is Td such that a condition defined by 0.5*Tf≤Tc, Tp, Td≤Tf is satisfied. 17 . The pouch-type battery case of claim 16 , wherein a condition defined by 0.6*Tf≤Tc, Tp, Td≤Tf is satisfied. 18 . The pouch-type battery case of claim 16 , wherein a condition defined by Tp≥0.6*Tb is satisfied. 19 . The pouch-type battery case of claim 16 , wherein a condition defined by Tp≥0.6*Ts is satisfied. 20 . The pouch-type battery case of claim 16 , wherein a condition defined by Tp≤Tc≤Td is satisfied. 21 . A secondary battery comprising: a pouch-type battery case according to claim 1 ; and an electrode assembly accommodated in the cup part of the pouch-type battery case.
