Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

The present disclosure provides an electrode mixture having low expansion during charging and a lithium-ion battery comprising such an electrode mixture. The electrode mixture of the present disclosure comprises silicon clathrate active material particles and aluminum fluoride particles, and an average particle size of the aluminum fluoride particles is 3.0 μm or less. The lithium-ion battery of the present disclosure comprises an electrode active material layer, and the electrode active material layer contains the electrode mixture of the present disclosure.

First claim

1 . An electrode mixture, comprising silicon clathrate active material particles and aluminum fluoride particles, wherein an average particle size of the aluminum fluoride particles is 3.0 μm or less. 2 . The electrode mixture according to claim 1 , wherein an average particle size of the aluminum fluoride particles is 0.1 μm or more and 2.5 μm or less. 3 . The electrode mixture according to claim 2 , wherein the average particle size of the aluminum fluoride particles is 0.8 μm or more and 1.8 μm or less. 4 . The electrode mixture according to any one of claim 1 , wherein a ratio of the average particle size of the aluminum fluoride particles relative to an average particle size of the silicon clathrate active material particles is 2.5 or less. 5 . The electrode mixture according to any one of claim 1 , wherein a ratio of a content of the aluminum fluoride particles relative to a content of the silicon clathrate active material particles is less than 2.0% by area when a cross-sectional observation by SEM-EDX measurement is carried out on the electrode mixture. 6 . A lithium-ion battery, comprising an electrode active material layer, wherein the electrode active material layer contains the electrode mixture according to any one of claim 1 .
