Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

A display device includes a light emitting structure disposed on a substrate, and a thin film encapsulation layer disposed on the light emitting structure and including an inorganic layer containing silicon oxynitride and an organic layer. A portion of the inorganic layer has a stress intensity factor of about 1.6 MPa or more.

What is claimed is: 1 . A display device, comprising: a light emitting structure disposed on a substrate; and a thin film encapsulation layer disposed on the light emitting structure, the thin film encapsulation layer including a first inorganic layer which contains silicon oxynitride, an organic layer disposed on the first inorganic layer, and a second inorganic layer disposed on the organic layer and which contains silicon oxynitride, wherein the second inorganic layer includes: a second lower inorganic layer; and a second upper inorganic layer disposed on the second lower inorganic layer, and wherein a number of dangling bonds of the second upper inorganic layer is less than a number of dangling bonds of the second lower inorganic layer. 2 . The display device of claim 1 , wherein a stress intensity factor of the second upper inorganic layer is greater than a stress intensity factor of the second lower inorganic layer. 3 . The display device of claim 2 , wherein the stress intensity factor of the second upper inorganic layer is about 1.6 MPa or more, and wherein the stress intensity factor of the second lower inorganic layer is less than about 1.6 MPa. 4 . The display device of claim 1 , wherein a spin density of the second upper inorganic layer is less than a spin density of the second lower inorganic layer. 5 . The display device of claim 1 , wherein a spin density of the second upper inorganic layer is less than about 9.0×10 18 spins/cm 3 , and wherein a spin density of the second lower inorganic layer is about 9.0×10 18 spins/cm 3 or more. 6 . The display device of claim 1 , wherein a difference between a refractive index of the second upper inorganic layer and a refractive index of the second lower inorganic layer is less than about 0.05. 7 . The display device of claim 1 , wherein the first inorganic layer includes: a first lower inorganic layer; and a first upper inorganic layer disposed on the first lower inorganic layer, and wherein a number of dangling bonds of the first upper inorganic layer is less than a number of dangling bonds of the first lower inorganic layer. 8 . The display device of claim 7 , wherein a stress intensity factor of the first upper inorganic layer is greater than a stress intensity factor of the first lower inorganic layer. 9 . The display device of claim 8 , wherein the stress intensity factor of the first upper inorganic layer is about 1.6 MPa or more, and wherein the stress intensity factor of the first lower inorganic layer is less than about 1.6 MPa. 10 . The display device of claim 7 , wherein a spin density of the first upper inorganic layer is less than a spin density of the first lower inorganic layer. 11 . The display device of claim 10 , wherein the spin density of the first upper inorganic layer is less than about 9.0×10 18 spins/cm 3 , and wherein the spin density of the first lower inorganic layer is about 9.0×10 18 spins/cm 3 or more. 12 . The display device of claim 7 , wherein a difference between a refractive index of the first upper inorganic layer and a refractive index of the first lower inorganic layer is less than about 0.05.
