Aspects related to aircraft for commercial air travel and methods of manufacture. An aircraft includes a blended wing body, a single deck located within the blended wing body, wherein the single deck additionally includes a passenger compartment located in a lateral middle portion of the blended wing body and at least a cargo store located laterally outside the passenger compartment, and a landing gear, wherein the landing gear includes at least a nose gear located substantially forward of the single deck and at least a main gear located substantially aft of the single deck, wherein one or more of the at least a nose gear and the at least a main gear occupies a gear housing that overlaps with a plane coincident with at least a portion of the single deck.

What is claimed is: 1 . An aircraft, the aircraft comprising: a blended wing body; a single deck located within the blended wing body, wherein the single deck comprises a passenger compartment; at least a cargo store, wherein the at least a cargo store is located laterally outside the passenger compartment; and a landing gear, wherein the landing gear comprises: at least a nose gear; and at least a main gear, wherein: one or more of the at least a nose gear and the at least a main gear occupies a gear housing; and the at least a nose gear and the at least a main gear comprises an extended position and a retracted position. 2 . The aircraft of claim 1 , wherein the single deck comprises a plurality of bays, wherein each of the plurality of bays comprises a floor that is not in plane with another bay. 3 . The aircraft of claim 1 , wherein the passenger compartment is located substantially between the at least a nose gear and the at least a main gear. 4 . The aircraft of claim 1 , wherein the at least a cargo store is pressurized. 5 . The aircraft of claim 1 , wherein the at least a main gear is located substantially aft of the single deck. 6 . The aircraft of claim 1 , wherein the at least a cargo store comprises a port cargo store and a starboard cargo store. 7 . The aircraft of claim 1 , further comprising: a sandwich structure formed with a floor structure and a OML structure, wherein: a plurality of transverse elements is configured to link the floor structure and the OML structure; and a plurality of longitudinal elements is configured to transmit shear longitudinally. 8 . The aircraft of claim 1 , wherein the at least a main gear comprises at least two landing gear assemblies. 9 . The aircraft of claim 1 , further comprising: a high wing geometry, wherein an egress path is near ground level when the landing gear is in a raised position. 10 . The aircraft of claim 9 , wherein the cargo store is located partially over the single deck in the high wing geometry. 11 . A method of manufacture for an aircraft for commercial air travel, the method comprising: receiving a blended wing body; locating a single deck within the blended wing body, wherein the single deck comprises a passenger compartment; locating at least a cargo store laterally outside the passenger compartment; locating at least a nose gear; and locating at least a main gear, wherein: one or more of the at least a nose gear and the at least a main gear occupies a gear housing; and the at least a nose gear and the at least a main gear comprises an extended position and a retracted position. 12 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the single deck comprises a plurality of bays, wherein each of the plurality of bays comprises a floor that is not in plane with another bay. 13 . The method of claim 11 , further comprising: locating the passenger compartment substantially between the at least a nose gear and the at least a main gear. 14 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the at least a cargo store is pressurized. 15 . The method of claim 11 , further comprising: locating, the at least a main gear substantially aft of the single deck. 16 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the at least a cargo store comprises a port cargo store and a starboard cargo store. 17 . The method of claim 11 , further comprising: forming a sandwich structure, wherein the sandwich structure comprises a floor structure and a OML structure; linking, using a plurality of transverse elements, the floor structure and the OML structure; and transmitting, using a plurality of longitudinal elements, shear longitudinally. 18 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the at least a main gear comprises at least two landing gear assemblies. 19 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the aircraft further comprises a high wing geometry, wherein an egress path is near ground level when the landing gear is in the retracted position. 20 . The method of claim 19 , further comprising: locating the cargo store partially over the single deck in the high wing geometry.
