Official abstract text for this publication.
Disclosed is an anti-norovirus antibody that reacts with noroviruses of many genotypes and can collectively detect the noroviruses. The anti-norovirus antibody or an antigen-binding fragment thereof undergoes antigen-antibody reaction with the peptides composed of the amino acid sequences of SEQ ID NO: 1 and SEQ ID NO: 2, respectively. The anti-norovirus antibody, which can broadly bind to noroviruses and detect a wide range of human noroviruses with high specificity and sensitivity, and a norovirus immunoassay and a norovirus immunoassay device, both using the anti-norovirus antibody, are provided.

1 . An anti-norovirus antibody which undergoes antigen-antibody reaction with the peptides composed of the amino acid sequences of SEQ ID NO: 1 and SEQ ID NO: 2, respectively, or an antigen-binding fragment thereof. 2 . The anti-norovirus antibody of claim 1 or an antigen-binding fragment thereof, whose epitope is the whole or a part of the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 3. 3 . The anti-norovirus antibody of claim 1 or an antigen-binding fragment thereof, wherein the anti-norovirus antibody is a monoclonal antibody. 4 . An immunoassay of norovirus utilizing the antigen-antibody reaction between norovirus in a sample and the anti-norovirus antibody of claim 1 or an antigen-binding fragment thereof. 5 . An immunoassay device of norovirus, comprising the anti-norovirus antibody of claim 1 or an antigen-binding fragment thereof. 6 . The anti-norovirus antibody of claim 2 or an antigen-binding fragment thereof, wherein the anti-norovirus antibody is a monoclonal antibody. 7 . An immunoassay of norovirus utilizing the antigen-antibody reaction between norovirus in a sample and the anti-norovirus antibody of claim 2 or an antigen-binding fragment thereof. 8 . An immunoassay device of norovirus, comprising the anti-norovirus antibody of claim 2 or an antigen-binding fragment thereof.
