There are provided indeno-fused naphthopyran compound particles having a degree of crystallization of 10.00% or less and a maximum primary particle size of 200 μm or less.

1 . Indeno-fused naphthopyran compound particles having a degree of crystallization of 10.00% or less and a maximum primary particle size of 200 μm or less. 2 . The particles according to claim 1 , which have a degree of crystallization of 7.00% or less. 3 . A method of producing a polymerizable composition, comprising mixing the particles according to claim 1 with one or more polymerizable compounds. 4 . A method of producing a photochromic article, comprising: producing a polymerizable composition by the production method according to claim 3 ; and curing the produced polymerizable composition to form a cured product containing a photochromic compound. 5 . The method of producing a photochromic article according to claim 4 , comprising forming a photochromic layer on a substrate directly or indirectly, wherein the cured product is the photochromic layer. 6 . The method of producing a photochromic article according to claim 4 , wherein the photochromic article is a spectacle lens. 7 . The method of producing a photochromic article according to claim 4 , wherein the photochromic article is a goggle lens. 8 . The method of producing a photochromic article according to claim 4 , wherein the photochromic article is a visor part of a sun visor. 9 . The method of producing a photochromic article according to claim 4 , wherein the photochromic article is a shield member of a helmet. 10 . A method of producing a polymerizable composition, comprising mixing the particles according to claim 2 with one or more polymerizable compounds. 11 . The method of producing a photochromic article according to claim 5 , wherein the photochromic article is a spectacle lens. 12 . The method of producing a photochromic article according to claim 5 , wherein the photochromic article is a goggle lens. 13 . The method of producing a photochromic article according to claim 5 , wherein the photochromic article is a visor part of a sun visor. 14 . The method of producing a photochromic article according to claim 5 , wherein the photochromic article is a shield member of a helmet.
